"You know she didn't mean it," Lauren commented, glancing at Reese, then Camila.
"Yeah," Reese nodded. "That doesn't sound like Y/N. Plus, she was drunk. Y/N never drinks, so I'm surprised that she got drunk."
"Normani said that people speak the truth when they're drunk," Camila mumbled, running a hand through her hair.
After Y/N's loft, she went straight to Lauren and Reese. She knew Normani was with Dinah and they were probably talking or other things, and Ally was working late tonight.
"Not all the time," Lauren tried to reason.
"And certainly not Y/N," Reese piped. "Y/N loves you, Camila. I've known that since she started talking to you. She had this look in her eye, something I've never seen before."
"What do I do?" Camila murmured, heavily sighing.
"Give her sometime," Reese told her. "About a couple of days, then go talk to her, okay?"
Camila nodded, still unsure, "Okay."

"There's a noise complaint," Ally informed Demi as the two got into the police car. "We're gonna go check it out."
Ally was in the driver's seat, while Demi was in the passengers. The two put their seat-belts on, and then Ally was pulling out.
"When are we gonna do some real action? I mean, aren't we detectives?" Demi questioned, looking at Ally.
"Yes," Ally nodded. "But we're both juniors. The time will come when it's right."
Demi nodded, "I heard that you helped solve a murder case."
"You heard right," Ally muttered, taking a left at the stop sign.
"When are we gonna do something like that?"
"You ask a lot of questions,"
"Well, I am a detective,"
"Sorry, let me rephrase that," Ally started. "You talk a lot."
"Not really," Demi responded. "I'm only curious. I'm sure when you were new to the station, you had a lot of questions."
Ally's lips pressed into a firm line as she pulled into the driveway of the house, "Come on. We're here."

I groaned, rolling over when something cold squirted me. My eyes snapped open and I sat up, instantly regretting it as my head pounded. I saw Reese and Lauren standing in front of me, squirting water guns.
"Stop," I muttered, running a hand through my messy hair. "What happened last night?"
"You tell us," Reese said. "You were there."
I sighed, standing up. I walked into the kitchen, making myself a cup of coffee as I got two Advil's out. I turned around and leaned against the counter, taking the medicine.
"Camila said you - "
"Fuck," I interrupted Reese. "Fuck, fuck, fuck. I know what I said. I remember - God damnit."
"You should apologize to her, you asshole," Lauren shot water at me again, causing me to flinch.
"Aren't you supposed to be like, saving lives or some shit?" I glared at her, causing her to smile.
"I took the day off," Lauren responded, shooting me again. "Go apologize - now."
"Take a shower first," Reese quickly said, causing me to roll my eyes.

Camila sat in her apartment, hands in her hair. She sighed and stood up, walking into the bathroom. She looked at herself through the mirror, her eyes red and slightly puffy from crying.
She ran another hand through her hair, hearing a knock at her door. Camila walked over to it and opened it.
"Y-Y/N,"
Y/N stood in front of Camila, a single red rose in her hand. Y/N scratched the back of her neck, seeing Camila's eyes and immediately feeling even more guilty.
"Camila - " she began. "I'm so sorry. I - I was drunk and I wasn't thinking right. I say stupid things when I'm drunk, okay? I didn't mean it. I love you, everything about you. I realized that I was looking for you in Vero, but there's only one you. And I've been so stupid - holding this grudge against you, thinking we could get married so young. But I'm willing to wait, as long as if I have you by my side. Forever and always."
Camila stared at Y/N, teary-eyed. She took the rose from Y/N, then wrapped her arms around the taller girl. Y/N let out a sigh of relief, holding the girl tightly against her.
"I love you," Y/N murmured. "So fucking much."
"I love you," Camila responded, pulling away and pressing her lips against Y/N's. "I always have."

Ally felt the car slow down, and she furrowed her eyebrows. The car slowly came to a stop, and Ally had made it to the side of the road.
"Why are we stopping?" Demi asked.
Ally got up and out of the car, noticing that the police car had a flat tire.
"Great," Ally sighed as she got back into the car. "We have a flat tire."
Demi frowned as Ally got her phone out, but had no service. She looked around, noticing that they were literally in the middle of nowhere.
"No service," Ally murmured.
Demi grabbed the walkie-talkie thing, talking into, "Dispatch? We kinda got a flat tire here with no service."
"Sending a tow truck to you. Might take awhile,"
"Great," Ally leaned back in her seat. "Just what I needed."
Demi frowned again, looking over at Ally, "What's your problem with me? Ever since I've gotten here, you've been a dick to me."
Ally looked at Demi, not saying anything. She didn't expect her to say anything about her behavior, but then again, she admits that she has been a jerk.
Ally sighed, "I'm sorry. I'm not used to working with new people. I'm trying, alright?"
Demi looked at Ally, uneasy, "Yeah."
"You're from Chicago PD, right?" Ally asked, and Demi nodded. "My friend went to boot camp in Chicago. She's in the Navy."
Demi nodded, "Oh. Cool. So you're from Miami?"
"Yeah," Ally answered. "Been here a long time. I went to college in Tampa, though."
"This is my first time in Florida," Demi said. "It's nice so far."
Ally smiled, "So far, yeah. Have you been to the beach yet?"
"No," Demi shook her head. "Haven't had a chance."
"Oh, well, we're gonna go this weekend," Ally laughed. "If we ever get out of here."
Demi smiled a bit, looking at Ally, "I'd like that."
