Flood Update #2

So yes, this is the second flood update. It's been three days since the last update, and things are going pretty well. The flood had moved on quite a bit from my grandparent's house; the ditch has mostly returned to it's usual parameters, the yard is almost entirely drained, everything is still very, very damp. It is still raining quite a bit, but it's been a lot lighter, which is good. The sinkhole has gotten a little bit bigger, and frogs and snakes keep getting stuck in it.

My mom and I are going to try to go home today. We are hoping that the roads we have to take will be open. I'll update this later depending on whether we make it home or have to turn around and come back.

Update: My mom and I got home safely. It rained the whole way back, and the interstate was cut down to one lane because a few exits where still flooded.
