Mindscape

I want to do a thing.

I really want to do a thing at my college. I've heard of other colleges doing this, but as far as I know mine doesn't. 

I want to organize a campus wide Scream.

I want to gather a bunch of students in the quad at dusk and we all just scream into the void for an hour or so. Of course, I would only last maybe five minutes because even talking normally for any length of time makes my throat hurt, but I still want to do it. I feel like screaming things out would be good for me psychologically, but if I do it by myself I'll look like a freak, so I want everyone else to do it with me. 

And maybe we could do it on Halloween or something so everyone in town (my college is sort of in the middle of the town and surrounded by neighborhoods and stuff) wouldn't freak out because of all the screaming. I probably thought about this too late to do it this upcoming Halloween but next year is always an option. Or maybe one could even be organized right before finals week so everyone can get stuff out of their system and be able to focus on studying. 

The only trouble is that I don't know how to go about organizing something like this. I don't know what authority figures I'm supposed to approach or if I need to get a permit or something or how get the word out in the residential areas surrounding my school so that no one calls the cops on all the screaming people.
