"I want someone to look at me. To really look at me. To look past my face, my body. But to see through my heart, my soul."

Song: Mercy - Shawn Mendes

I'VE BEEN PUMBED ABOUT THIS SONG AND IT'S SERIOUSLY MY NEW FAV SONG I CAN'T BREATH.

It was 10:00pm when I was already done with my job. All of this new informations Daniel told me was dancing on the back of my mind. They're just too much. I couldn't concentrate at the task at hand. Even though I and Daniel don't need this job, we came anyway to keep our minds off everything. I was having a slight headache so I leaned over a table to balance myself. I rubbed my temple with my index fingers and closed my eyes for a brief second.

"You okay there?" Daniel's voice startled me. I jumped slightly at the sudden move and he put his hands on my waist to balance me.

"I'll take that as a no. Let's go." He whispered in my ears and then his hands left my waist.

He stalked off to the cashier—where the boss is working.

"Hello, boss." Daniel smirked,

"What do you want, Jennings."

"Damn I didn't know your last name was Jennings." I muttered to myself.

Daniel motioned for me to come where he was standing with the boss. I hesitated before moving, but then I went anyway.

"You're fired." Daniel spat at the boss and I bit down at my lip to suppress myself from laughing.

"Fired? Kid, I own the place." The boss looked at us like we grew 3 legs.

"Well there ain't any proof."

"Are you doubting me, kid?" He looked angry now,

"Maybe a little—"

"You're fired."

"But boss—" I butted in,

"You too!"

I left my apron and the pay check I was holding on the cashier table and giggled while I walked with Daniel out of this place. Daniel shot the boss the middle finger and the boss cussed us out loud. Well to be honest, that was hilarious.

It reminded me of the day I and André made trouble in Walmart and the security kicked us out. And it made me wonder if whatever I have with Daniel will one day be gone too. I have to enjoy this moment, because after all, it'll only last a moment.

I jumped at Daniel's back and he swiftly caught my legs, giving me a piggyback ride. "Let's make things that'll be a great story to tell to our grandkids."

"Like, make progress in making their parents?" He smirked at me and I slapped his arm. I felt the heat creep to my neck and cheeks—and I know pretty well that I looked like a living tomato.

"I didn't mean it like that, I-I mean... Our grandkids Uh... Separately." I struggled at making a sentence and he just laughed it off, his body shaking from laughter.

"Well if you want me that bad, you could've just asked." I could even hear the smirk in his voice. He was enjoying the way I looked right now, I can tell.
