Okay.
I'm mad.
No scratch that I'm pissed.
So my mom and I went to the beach today. We were having a great time.
But the good time didn't last long.
Mom and I were coming out of the restroom....and BAM!
A rock hits my mom right in the head.
She immediately puts her hand to her head.
I quickly ask if she's okay.....only to see bright red blood pour down her arm.
She collapses to the ground and tells me to go get help.
I run down the beach looking desperately for someone.
Finally I see these two ladies and sprint to them.
And this how the conversation went....
Me: Excuse me! Please, I need help! My mom got hit by a rock and is bleeding.
Women 1: *looks at me like I'm high as fuck*
Women 2: *rolls her eyes*
Me: Please! I need help! This is an emergency!!
Women 1: ok. Calm down I'll call 911
Women 2: Go tell the people inside *points to this bar/restaurant*
So I run in to this bar and like no one is there. I yell "Hello" and "I need help" over and over. Finally someone appears.... a guy.
Guy: What is going on here?
Me: I need help! It's an emergency!
Guy: what's wrong?
Me: My mom she got hit by a rock and there's all this blood.
Guy: *grabs a towel* Show me where she is.
So 911 was called and EMT's did show up. We ended up taking an ambulance to a small hospital.
Problem was is our car was still at the beach and we we're an hour or more away from home. We were literally stuck at the hospital.
But what really pissed me off is my mother told the EMT's about our situation of being stuck. He turns and looks at me and says "And you can't drive?!" I glare at him and snap back at him with "I'm only 16" That shut him up real fast.
I am home now and my mother had to get 2 stitches.
Oh and now we think someone purposefully threw the rock.
That's what's sad. Who would do something like this? To random strangers. Really what has this world come to?
