Chapter 7 We're a Couple

Farkle POV:
It's been 16 hours since we started dating. Lucas, Zay, and Riley keep trying to call or text me, but I just ignore them. I'm very happy with Maya. This is our first day showing up as a couple. I don't care what people think. I'm thinking about going to the subway to surprise Maya.

Maya POV:
All my friends were texting "Are you dating Farkle?" "I can't believe you're in love with him!" "I saw this coming." I just ignore them because I can talk to all of them at school. I go to Riley's window, and she's waiting for me with a mad face. "You broke up with Josh. And you're in love with Farkle!" I know she's cracking a smile. "Yes, that's true." We eat breakfast silently. After we finished, we go to the subway.
Farkle POV:
I see them. Maya jumps on me. "Hey, babe!" Then she kisses my cheek. And bites her lip. Riley said "This is gonna be a long ride."
Maya POV:
We go to our lockers. "Maya. Farkle. Why didn't you respond to our texts and calls?" Lucas said concerned. "We're just dating. What's the big deal?" Riley laughs. "Uhhhh..... what if you break up for example. Will you still be friends?" This is just too much for me. Farkle and I ignore the questions. We sat next to each other in history class. Mr. Matthews comes in. He looks at us weirdly. "Why are you sitting there, Maya?" I said "Does this matter to you, Mr. Matthews?" He thinks for a bit. "Good question. Am I missing a fight or something?" Riley blurts out "Maya and Farkle are dating!!!" She puts her hand on her mouth. He giggled for like a minute and then stopped. "Wait. What? You're serious?" He looks at us. "Wow." And then we start learning. Thanks a lot Riles.
