Maya's POV:

It was all my fault. Maybe I shouldn't have told him about my miscarriage at all. But for some odd reason I didn't think he would react the way that he did. I thought he would be supportive and caring but he did the opposite. It's been a week since our fight. Farkle's not returning any of my texts or calls.

I went to Cory and Topanga's apartment. I needed someone to talk to. I knocked on her door. Riley opened it.

"Oh Peaches...."

"Riles I need you."

I hugged her tightly.

So we went to her room and sat on her bay window. I told her the whole story that I couldn't tell her over the phone.

Her eyes widened. "Whoa."

I nodded. "I know it's all crazy."

She shrugged. "I mean at least you guys are over now."

"Wait what? I never said we broke up."

"Well I assumed. He hasn't been responding to your texts and calls."

"Yeah, but we didn't break up."

"Yet."

There was silence in the room for a minute.

I bit my lip. "So you're doubting our relationship."

"Maya, don't get mad at me but you have to admit that you guys are toxic for each other. Each time you guys get back together, people get hurt."

"What do you mean?"

She sighed. "For example, when Farkle left Sierra at the altar. Ummm.....imagine being in Sierra's position. Your husband-to-be leaves you for his on-again-off-again high school sweetheart."

I took it all in. "So you're saying that if we're together, we would not only hurt ourselves but the people around us."

"Basically."

My eyes were watering too much. "Riles, I love Farkle way too much."

"Maybe it's time to let him go."

I started to break down in tears. "No, I can't do that."

My phone buzzed. It was Farkle. Finally. He said to meet him John Quincy Adams High School. But why?

"Goodbye Riley."

"Where do think you're going?"

"I don't know yet. But I have do to it alone."

"Then you better go."

I left her apartment and went on the subway. I didn't what was going to happen. Was he planning to break up? Did he want us to take a break? Or did he finally want us to make up?

At last, I arrived to the school. I went inside the building. My heart was beating fast and my hands were shaking. Everything was quiet. I found this yellow duct taped line. Right next to it there was a sticky note. "Dorothy, follow the yellow brick road."

"Hey!"

I quickly turned around. I saw a new office lady that didn't work the year I went to this school.

I put my hands up in the air. "Hi, I know I'm not suppose to be here. But I graduated this high school. I'm meeting up with someone and it will only---"

"Sweetie, you're fine. Follow the yellow brick road."

I nodded. I followed the "so-called yellow brick road." It led up to Mrs. Clark's classroom. I opened the door and slowly walked in. All friends and family were holding candles including Farkle. I walked up to him and we held each other's hands.

"I'm so sorry, Maya. I just couldn't wait to be with you for the rest of my life."

My eyes were filled with tears of many emotions. All of those pregnancy hormones.
