"START TAKING DOWN THE TENTS! GATHER YOUR THINGS! WE LEAVE IN ONE HOUR!" Valerie yelled.
I walked over to my tent.
Mr. McConaway was already starting to take it down. "Hey, Mr. McConaway."
"Call me Michael."
"Okay, what should I do to help?"
"Go in the tent and get everything out."
I walked into the tent and started to take apart the cots. After they were taken apart I took them outside. I went back in to grab the small table and my knife. Turns out Michael's knife was there too.
When I walked back out Mark came up to me. "Do you need a sheath for your knife?"
"Yeah, that'd be great." He handed me a sheath that looked like it was meant to wrap around my thigh. I put my knife in it. The knife fit almost perfectly. "Thanks." I said.
"No problem. I found it at what looked like an empty base."
"We leave in five!" Valerie yelled.
Everything was taken down and put into bags. "Here." Maggie said. She handed be a bag. "There are clothes for everyone in there. You're job is to not lose any on are way there."
"Where exactly is there?"
"Toronto."
I've always wanted to go visit Toronto just not under these circumstances. "Okay," I said.
"C'MON EVERYONE!" Valerie yelled.Three Hours Later
"Are we there yet?" Jason asked.
"We're about a half hour away from the border. Once we cross the border we still have about two hours until we get to the location in Toronto. So, no." Maggie said.About two and a half hours later we finally got to our next camping area. "Mike and Claudia, go into town to get supplies while the rest of us set up camp," Valerie said. "Remember, go armed and bring back jackets, food, and medical supplies as the top three priorities!"
Mike walked up to me. "You ready?" He asked.
"Yep." I had my knife on me already.
It took us about ten minutes to get into town. I wasn't ready for what I saw before me. Is this what my life will be like from now on? I pulled my knife out of its sheath. I noticed Mike holding a gun. That's when I heard "err" coming from all around us.
