??? POV
"Who are you?" I asked the two strangers who had just broken into my house. I held my knife in my hand making sure it was visible so when the strangers turned around they would see it.
They two of them spun around, one male and the other female. "We could ask you the same question!" The girl retorted.
"I didn't just break into someone's house!" I responded.
"You weren't just chased by mutant zombies!" she responded.
"And you couldn't of just ran into a house that wasn't locked instead of breaking the lock on my door!" I said.
"This was the first house we could get to! You don't really think about which house you're running into when your life is on the line!" the girl responded.
"You could at least tell me who you are!" I responded.
"I'm Angel and this is Mark." the girl named Angel told me. "And you are?"Angel's POV
"I'm Greg," the brown hair man told us. He kept his knife in front of him, his eyes never leaving our direction.
"Mark, can you please check outside to see if the mutants are gone?" I said to Mark.
"Sure," he responded and walked toward the door. "They're still there. They seem to be looking around cluelessly."
"You can leave through the back door," Greg said. "Walk into the kitchen, the door's in there."
I tightened the grip on my knife and I stole a look at Mark. He gave me a slight nod, his fingers gripped tightly around his gun.
I started to walked forward, not letting my eyes leave Greg's direction. We walked into the kitchen and I spotted a wooden door that looked to lead outside. I unlocked it and pulled it open, a screen door was behind it. I had unlocked that too and then I held it open. I walked outside and held the door open, expecting Mark to be behind me.
I just got a glimpse of him being drug backward, a gag at his mouth. "Mark!" I yelled as I ran back inside.
Large hands grabbed my arms behind me and pulled them backward. I tried to resist but they were just too strong. I felt my wrists be bound together. A black sack was thrown over my head. I felt a needle stab my arm and I was pushed to the ground. A minute later I lost consciousness.Claudia's POV
Journal Entry:
I keep hearing banging coming from the house next door to me. I wonder what's going. I've been thinking about moving house incase it isn't safe. The zombies are my issue. I don't think I could handle them on my own. I'll let you know my decision when I make it.I set my journal back on the end table. I heard something heavy be thrown onto the ground in the house next door. I thought I could hear screaming too.
I walked to the kitchen to grab something to eat. I decided on a fruit cup. I spent the rest of the night reading, the house next door being eerily quiet for once.Shane's POV
"It's being a couple of days, I wonder where they are." I said, looking out the window.
"Where who are?" a voice said behind me. I turned around.
"WILL!" I said.
"What happened? The last thing I remember is being injected with something in the back of a truck." Will said.
"What ever you were injected with sent you into a coma. I used to be an EMT so I recognized it. Some of us went out and got you the cure." I informed him. "How do you fell?"
"A little lightheaded, but fine other than that." Will said.
"You should probably get something to eat." I said.
"Not before you tell me who hasn't come back in a few days." Will said.
"I guess you could just look around and find out yourself." I said.
Will looked around the room. At me, Lilly, Ian, Madelyn, Elliot, and Cam. "Where are Mark and Angel!?" Will said practically screaming.
"They went out to get more resources a few days ago and they haven't return." I said.
"And why didn't you go look for them!?" Will said.
"Ian and Madelyn did, but they couldn't find anything." I said. "We were planning to go look again tomorrow."
"How about now!?" Will said grabbed his jacket and put it on.
"It's almost dark out. I promise at the crack of dawn we'll go out and look for them." I said.
"So what if it's dark! We have flashlights! My boyfriend and one of my closest friends are out there! If we find them dead I'm blaming you! And I haven't hesitated to shoot people in the head who have done anything to Mark!" Will said, his breathing heavy. He walked over to a backpack and rummaged through it until he found three flashlights. "Madelyn, Shane, get your jackets on!"
"Will this is crazy! We'll just die out there!" Shane said.
"How would you feel if the love of your life went missing!" Madelyn said. "I know I would search to the ends of the earth if Ian ever went missing!" Madelyn put on here jacket and picked up her baseball bat. Will handed her a flashlight.
"Thank you!" I heard Will say to Madelyn. "Now," Will looked at me. "Are you coming or not?"
I nodded my head and walked over to put my jacket on. I picked up my knife and Will handed me a flashlight. He picked up his gun and checked to make sure it was loaded. Will walked over to a backpack and pulled out what must of been bullets because he put them in the gun. He clicked it shut and stood up, throwing the bag onto his back. "Let's get going." Will said, walking toward the front door. We walked out into the almost dark street.(A/N) Hey guys! Happy New Year! I just wanted to say thank you for getting this story to over 500 reads!
