Maggie's POV

"What are you doing? Stop!" I said. I was thrashing, trying to get out of this strange guy's arms. He threw a gag over my mouth and quickly tied it insanely tight.
"Shut up! The rest of your friends are next." The guy said. He dragged me out to his truck and threw me in the cab. He stabbed me with a needle.
My vision immediately went blurry. I saw the guy walk away before I lost consciousness.
When I woke up again my arms were bound behind me. I was sitting in a chair. Suddenly, I heard a door open. Then, I heard voices.
"That gun has four bullets," the voice said. "In order to prove that you really want to join us you have to kill your so called friends. If you don't shoot anyone or if you try to kill Natalia, then you and your friends will die."
"I'd rather die at your hands then have to kill my friends and be a murderer!" I heard Claudia yell.
"Oh really?" The voice said. "You wouldn't die the way your friends will, quickly. You will die the slowest, most painful death man can conjure. We will bind your arms above your head, then we'll slowly make small incisions in your body. While that is being done someone will stick blades under all your finger and toe nails. Then, someone will pull out all your teeth one by one. Finally, someone will slowly and delicately slice your throat open. You will bleed until your death."
I tried to stifle a sob. It didn't work.
We must of been on a moving floor, because the room was spinning. When it stop spinning I thought I could see a gun above my head pointed at me.
Claudia walked over in the direction that must of been where Natalia was. I could here them whispering, but I couldn't decipher what they were saying.
About twenty seconds later I thought I heard Natalia burst out of her restraints. I heard rope break three more times. Finally, I felt the ropes holding me back be broken.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I'LL HAVE YOUR HEAD FOR THIS NATALIA!" The voice said.
"Come on!" I heard Claudia say. I heard the pounding of footsteps as everyone was running away. I started to run too, but suddenly I was held back.
"You're not going anywhere," a menacing voice that sounded like the one that kidnapped me said. He pulled me back and into a room. It must of been his office. "You will die here if no one else will."
He pulled a knife out. "No, please." I said. "I'll do what ever you want."
"There isn't anything I need done that can't be done by one of my minions." The guy said. He held the knife to my throat. I backed up only to find a wall behind me.
He slowly pressed the knife to the side of my throat. I could feel the freshly spilled blood flow down the side of my neck. The guy slid the knife across my throat until blood was squirting out of the whole front of my neck.
I tried to die standing, but I couldn't do it. I slid down the wall, my vision going blurry. I finally lost consciousness for the last time.

Claudia's POV

Twenty minutes later we reached our soon to be old house. We gathered our things and left. I kept my knife in my hand. Angel had a map.
"-We'll head to Dawson," she was saying. "That should be safe for a bit. It's also a bit more north than Yellowknife. We'll stay in the neighboring towns each night until we reach there. I hope we have enough food and clothes."
"Angel watch where you're going!" Will said. He ran in front of Angel and stabbed a zombie.
"Sorry, I'm just trying to figure out which direction we need to go." Angel said.
"I wonder what would have happened if we stayed in that house. It seemed to be haunted with that floating bag and all." Mark said.
"There are only four of us now," I said. "We need to be extremely careful."
"Yeah, we can't afford to lose anyone else." Angel said.
We walked for about an hour before we reached the next town. We found a house and got settled for the night. Will and Mark agreed to split watch that night.
I walked up to the second floor and found a bedroom. I got myself settled into bed. It finally dawned upon me that I lost the last piece of family that I knew was still alive. I silently cried until I finally fell asleep.
