That's My Girl. // (B.U.)

I like this guy.

We all looked at Alex in awe while walking home. He was telling us how he hasn't even come out to his parents yet. We were giving him advice on how we think he should do it.  He was so nervous because his parents were Christians. He invited us over, we were introduced to his parents, bill and Jessica their names were, I could see that Alec had his dad's hair and nose and his mums eyes. His mum Honestly looked like a model or something she was stunning. We went up to his room as he stayed downstairs to kinda 'break' the news. We heard talking then silence. It was like this for a while until we heard a few cheers. And Alex ran upstairs and into the room jumping around. There was a huge sigh in the room, we all started jumping around cheering for him. "They said they couldn't care less they love for who I am." We all crowded into a big group hug. I'd known this guy for less than 24 hours and I feel like I've known him a life time. We all were all sitting back me and Harvey were on the floor leaning against the wall while kira and Alex were sitting on the bed. We were all talking about what we like and all that jazz when my phone went off.

Dallon:
"Sup kiddo how was your first day?"
Me:
"It was great I'm actually at a friends house right so tell Bren not to worry."
Dallon:
"Ok just be safe and if it's a boy house no funny stuff"

I tut and put my phone back in my pocket. "Who was that?" Alex asks with a concerned look on his face. "Just my uncle asking how first day went. You know how family is" we all laugh and go back to asking questions about each other. It was an interesting after we got to know a lot about Alex and he got to know a lot about us.

I check my phone and the time read '7:30' and Harvey signalled that his mum was here. "Right, us two are off see you guys tomorrow" Harvey said standing up and reaching his hand to help me up. We all wave and walk downstairs. "It was nice meeting you Mrs and Mr love." I said politely to Alex's parents. "It was a pleasure dear you two are welcome around any time" she said to us as we walk out of the door to Harvey's mums car. We hope in and drive back to my house.
I get out wave and enter the home. I could smell something amazing, spaghetti if I'm not mistaken. I took off my hat and threw my bad down. The smell dragged me to the kitchen and I saw Brendon again at the stove. "Wow I didn't know you were so good cooking Bren" I say laughing and punching his arm. He laughs to and I grab a stool and sit down. Sarah comes from the other room and grabs the half drank cup of coffee of the side and sits down by you. "So," she says ruffling my hair, "how was the first day?" She says with the biggest smile on her face and she takes another sip of her coffee. "Well it was good, almost have all the same teachers except for science but she's chill and we made a new friend, his name is Alex he's the sweetest guy." I saw Brendon raise an eyebrow in the corner of my eye. "Hey, don't get any ideas bud he's gay." I say hitting his arm. He saw his eyebrow go back down and he went back to cooking.

We finish up and I go upstairs. "Goodnight people don't miss me too much." I shout fro, the top of the stairs now entering my bedroom. I heard Brendon and Sarah shout goodnight in unison. I wipe off my makeup and got changed into some pjs. I climbed into bed and put my phone on charge. As I was about to drift off I got a text off Alex. I opened my screen and squint at the screen. Shit I forgot my glasses. I stumble back into the bathroom to grab them.

Alex:
"Sorry if you were asleep just wanted to know if you wanted to come to dinner at the weekend with the other two, everything will be paid for all you have to do is dress fancy, it's my birthday on Saturday so my mum thought it would be a nice thing to do and since I have no other friends I thought to invite you lot."

Me:
"I wasn't asleep yet it's fine. And yeah sure just give me an adress or place of where to go and I'll meet you there are you sure you don't need no money toward the meals?"

Alex:
"No no honestly it's fine my uncle owns the restaurant so he gives us many discounts. Goodnight see you tomorrow."

Right ok so it's his birthday, what the hell do I get a guy I've just meet. Hmm well I know he likes music so that's a start. I put my phone back on charge and I slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Good morning my sweetpea!" Brendon came in singing prancing around my room. I groaned and got out of bed. "What's wrong with you?" I say yawning between every word. "Nothing I'm just really happy this morning." He says finally sitting down and smiling at me. "Well I'm glad your here anyway I need to ask a favour." He nodded as I proceeded. "I need a present for a friend, you know Alex the one from yesterday, it's his birthday on Saturday and he has invited us out for dinner so now I need a present." I say grabbing a Brobecks tee and a pair of ripped jeans from my wardrobe. "Well does he like music?" He says rubbing his chin. "Well yeah his really good at playing acoustic, he also plays the violin and sounds like an angel." He sat up as soon as I said that with a grin on his face. "Well I know a guy who can do you a personalised violin case or guitar case for him." I smile this was gonna be a good suprise.
