"we are just friends." Vice tried to explain.
"and you expect us to believe that?" Vhong said anxiously.
"look guys, I don't expect you'd support me in this pero kailangan ko kayo bilang mga kaibigan ko." Vice stated. "please, wag na kayong dumagdag sa sakit ng ulo ko."
"I am completely happy of what I have done. I can't have her, but I can be her friend." Pagpapaliwanag ni Vice. "Masama ba yun?"
Natahimik si Billy at Vhong. "so, what's your plan?"
"I offered her a job at the company as my secretary."
Kumunot ang noo ni Billy. "And what? Fall for her again? You know what, this story sounds familiar." sarkastiko niyang sabi.
"NO. Gusto ko lang na nagkikita pa rin kami." Sabi ni Vice pero tinignan lang siya ni Billy at Vhong na para bang nahihibang siya.
"you will never understand me," tumingin si Vice sa baba. "palibhasa hindi pa kayo nagmahal."
Vhong scoffed. "Mahal? Wow, big word."
Tinignan ulit ni Vice ang mga kaibigan. "Mahal ko siya. Okay? Ngayon lang ulit ako nakaramdam ng ganito eversince Karen. Mahirap ba paniwalaan yun?"
"sorry to say this, pero ang bobo mo pagdating sa pag-ibig." Sumbat ni Vhong. "Look at what happened between you and Karen. Anong pinagkaiba ni Karylle sa kanya? Si Karen, tinwo time ka. Si Karylle, may asawa--"
"shut up!" pag kontra ni Vice. Umiinit na ang atmosphere sa kanilang tatlo.
"Kung matino ka pa, Kalimutan mo na sya. She will just ruin everything." pagbabanta ni Vhong. "Do you hear me Vice?"
Napansin ni Vhong na hindi umiimik si Vice. Pinapalabas lang nito sa kabilang tenga ang mga sinasabi niya.
"Fine!" Galit niyang sabi. Tinuro turo niya si Vice with his index finger. "Pero itong tatandaan mo. Wag na wag kang lalapit sa min kapag nasaktan ka. And don't act as if hindi ka namin pinagsabihan."
"fine, I understand you're angry, I understand you want to punch me right now," mahinang sabi ni Vice. "pero buo na ang desisyon ko."
"Goodluck with that.." galit na sabi ni Vhong. "Tara na nga, Billy!"

Habang nasa loob, panay ang picture ng mga photographers sa mga guests. May lumapit din na photographer kay Karylle kaya nag-smile na rin siya.
