Vice's POV
Dahan dahan kong iminulat ang aking mga mata. At first I knew I was in a room filled with people. The light is bright but I could not see their faces clearly. Slowly, I see figures. I see Billy and vhong playing cards. I see my dad, doctor M, Ed, and Emman at the other side.. and finally, I see her sleeping sa tabi ko while holding my hand.
Am I in heaven? And there was Anne who's the first one to notice I was awake.
"Oh my God, finally!" she shouted. Everyone looked at me. I feel weak and I don't know if I should smile. I stared at them in confusion. Karylle woke up and kissed my hand.
"hi," she gently said as she placed my hand on her cheek.I managed to smile at her. She's here. Okay, I can rest now.
"tama na ang tulog bestie. Buti nga nagising ka sa Christmas eve. We would have celebrated it while you are sleeping." Billy said na syang nagpamulat sa kin.
"what? How long was I gone?" tanong ko.
"three days ka lang namang tulog." Sagot ni Vhong.
What?? Three days? I arched my brows. I looked in the surroundings and there was a Christmas tree with presents. There are also foods in the room. Holy crap.. it's Christmas.
"that's right. Christmas na in a few hours. Buti nalang talaga nagising ka na." sabi ni Karylle.
Naguguluhan pa rin ako. What happened to Yael? To Sebastian?
"I know you have a lot in mind right now but I want to tell you everything's fine. We filed a case against Yael for what he did."
I turned to Dr M. this time waiting for him to expound what Karylle said.
"yes. That's true." He started. "I never thought he would go that far. How could I allow my daughter to go back to him? I will never forgive myself if something bad happened to Karylle."
Lastly, I turned to dad and my siblings.
"yes, Yael was indeed violent." Father said. "pero bakit ba kasi pumunta ka pa sa bahay nila. We had a plan, Vice. You should have followed it."
"well, fuck you. Muntik na nga ako mamatay yan pa rin ang iniisip mo. Edi sana pala natuluyan nalang ako. Bwesit na buhay 'to."
Natahimik ang lahat. "oh kayo? May sasabihin rin ba kayo?" i looked at Ed and Emman. None of them talked.
I'm just so pissed with what I heard.
"leave me alone."
None of them moved which pissed me more. "bingi ba kayo? I said, leave me alone!"
Lumabas silang lahat sa kwarto except Karylle.
"you too, K." I said without looking at her. She let go of my hand and exited the room.

General POV
"that was too harsh, Rey." Dr. M pointed out once they're outside. "Vice made a mistake and I'm sure he regrets it. Even so, pinili niya pa ring paninidigan si Karylle,"
"Even when the world was against them, we were against them, pinaglaban niya pa rin ang nararamdaman niya for my daughter and I think that's beautiful."
"ama rin ako, Rey. I am not happy with what happened between our children but I'm not gonna linger on it either. We cannot turn back time but we can appreciate the present. Hayaan mo na si Vice maging ama sa anak niya. After all, apo mo pa rin yun."
