Nagising si Vice dahil sa init ng araw. Hapon na pala. Magkatabi silang natulog ni Karylle kanina pero ngayon wala na ito sa tabi niya. Instead, he found a letter beside him on the bed.

I don't even know how to start this. I left while you are asleep hoping that it would lessen the pain. But I know there would be no words enough to describe the pain I feel right now. Every moment I spent with you was bliss. Every time I was with you I felt happy. Even when we first met each other's eyes I knew that this man would do so much impact in my life. I am married – I never denied this fact but something in you made me say 'yes'. When we had our first date, it confirmed my feelings for you. It was wrong but I gladly took the risk because I don't wanna be right either. You're unpredictable, you're broken, and you're a mess but so am I. Maybe that's the main reason why we found comfort in each other. You became my mess and I became yours. I am really glad to have taken this joyride with you Vice. I have no regrets that I committed this mistake with you. If I waited til you woke baka hindi na ako umalis at mag stay na lang sa piling mo. Promise me that you will live your life without me and I'll do the same. I love you. Always.

Halos madurog si Vice pagkatapos basahin ang sulat. Humagulgol siya at nanginig sa sobrang iyak.

"fuck." he said in between his cries.

Dali dali siyang nagbihis at lumabas ng lake house. On the way out nakita siya ni Sebastian. He's there to get his things.

"san ka pupunta?"

"nasan siya???" di mawari ni Vice ang nararamdaman. He looked around. Karylle was nowhere to be found.

"umalis na. Tinawagan niya ako to pick you up."

"I can't Seb." Nanginginig ang mga labi ni Vice. "hindi ko pala kaya.. Hindi ko talaga kaya eh."

Sebastian felt sorry for him. He opened his arms for a hug and Vice did not hesitate to take it.

Napayakap siya ng mahigpit kay Sebastian habang umiiyak. "Seb!....."

Yael opens his door as Karylle arrived in his doorstep. He greeted her with a smile.

"Hi." Karylle greeted back but in a melancholic tone.

"welcome home." Yael tried to uplift her but sadness was visible in her face.

Hinawakan ni Yael ang mga balikat ni Karylle. "I know It's going to be a slow process but accepting you again would be the first step."

"Kaya please.. sana ikaw rin. Sana gawin natin 'to together. Let's start over again. Okay?" he smiled.

Karylle was able to form a small smile this time but she is not sure if it's real. "Okay."

"Ito ang magiging room ng bata," Yael said to Karylle. They just went inside the house at pinakita niya kaagad ang fully furnished pastel room. "what do you think?"

Karylle doesn't know how to react. Kumpleto na ang room para sa baby niya. May crib, may toys, may necessities. "why are you doing this?"

"doing what?"

"Do you really mean this? why are you so nice to me?"

"K, I told you. I want to start over. Yes, I was harsh on the phone but that was just so I could get you back." He explained. "magpapasko na. Sana maging masaya tayo this Christmas and may we start the upcoming new year as a happy couple again."
