Percy Jackson- Shots

Proposal

"Um... Annabeth... I have to tell you something." Percy said. I stopped walking and faced him.  

"What?" I asked, slightly afraid that he would tell me that he wanted to break up or that he had to move or something like that. 

"I've actually wanted to tell you this for a while... But I really don't like your name." He said. I felt hurt.  

"Excuse me?" I said, crossing my arms.  

"Yeah. It's your last name. It sucks." I couldn't believe that he was being this mean to me.  

"What's wrong with my last name?" I asked. I was starting to get annoyed.  

"I don't know... It just doesn't suit you. You should change it."  

"Change it? Change it to what?" Percy shove his hands in his pockets.  

"Jackson." He said and walked away. Change my last name to Jackson? What a stupid idea... Wait a minute. Jackson... That's Percy's last name. Oh gods. Oh gods.  

"Percy!" I cried, running after him. "Percy wait!" My boyfriend stopped and turned to face me, a huge grin on his face.  

"Did you just..." I couldn't get the words out. But I didn't have to. My eyes were starting to water when I saw Percy getting down on one knee. My hands covered my mouth and I gasped. Percy pulled out a small velvet box out of his pocket and opened it- which revealed a silver and blue ring.  

"Annabeth Chase," Percy said. "Will you marry me?" I had to force myself to speak.  

"Yes!" I screamed and tackled him. "Yes, yes, yes, a million times yes!" We stood up, and Percy slid the ring onto my finger. It was beautiful- a silver ring with a blue stone on it. There was something engraved in the stone. I looked closer and read it: Wise Girl and Seaweed Brain. I looked up at Percy. I didn't even try to stop the tears.  

"Percy... I-I love it. It's beautiful... I just love it. And I love you." Percy kissed me, and I flashed back to the time where we had our first, proper kiss. I pulled away and looked at my soon to be husband.
