"Girl, put some clothes on!"

I looked up, and saw two shirtless boys standing in front of me.

"Look who's talking," I told them, standing up and trying to keep my gaze straight.

"Well we're guys, so it's okay if we're shirtless," Connor said.

"You, on the other hand," Travis said, taking a step towards me, "Are a girl. Therefor, a guy could easily take advantage of an underdressed girl like yourself."

I realized that Travis was extremely close to me-too close for my liking.

"Well," I said, "If a guy did try to take advantage of an 'underdressed girl' like myself, I would just defend myself and kick him in the you-know-where." I put my finger on Travis's bare chest and pushed him away from me.

"You are one feisty daughter of Demeter," Connor told me, smirking.

I rolled my eyes. "What do you guys even want? I'm kind of busy."

Travis let out a loud 'Ha!'

"What?" I asked.

"Busy doing what?" he asked, once again stepping towards me. "Trying to make boys drool and fall over each other while trying to get to you? Because let me tell you, honey, it's working." His eyes flickered up and he looked at something behind me.

I turned my head and followed his gaze-what he said was true. There were three guys standing not that far away from me, talking to each other and smirking at me. One of them winked at me. I blushed as I turned back to the two boys.

Travis raised an eyebrow. "See?"

My face turned scarlet as I pushed through them. "Shut up," I mumbled.

I think I heard Travis calling my name, but I just kept walking until I was in my cabin. I looked at myself in the full-body mirror.

I guess the Stolls were right... I was a bit underdressed. It was a really hot day at Camp Half-Blood, so I was wearing a bikini top and a pair of shorts. Mentally scolding myself, I pulled an oversized T-shirt over my head.

"Hey, what's wrong?" asked a soft voice from behind me.

I looked in the mirror and saw a girl standing behind me.

"Nothing," I told Miranda. "I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"I said I'm fine!" I snapped. I didn't mean for it to come out like that; it just did.

Miranda's expression didn't change, though. She just waited a few seconds, then said, "No you're not."

I sighed. "It's just... It's just the Stolls. They're being even more annoying than usual."

"How?" Miranda asked.

"They... They just were. They told me that I was 'underdressed' and that a guy could easily 'take advantage of me'."

My half-sister smiled. "Aw!"

I spun around and looked at her with wide eyes. "What did you say?"

"Aw!" she repeated. "It's cute, they're being protective of you!"

"Well, to you it might be cute, but I find it very annoying," I told her. "And they're not protective, it's just their life goal to kill me with their obnoxiousness."

Miranda rolled her eyes. "Well, I'm going to the stables. Wanna come?"

I shook my head. "I think that I'll pass."
