Happy Birthday!

"Happy Birthday!"

Percy Jackson sat up straight in bed. He looked around, and saw all of his friends standing in his cabin. Annabeth, Grover, Tyson, Thalia, Jason, Leo, Frank, Piper, Hazel, even Nico stood in the back.

Percy smiled when he realized what was going on. "Thanks guys," he said.

Tyson was the first to rush forward. He threw his huge arms around Percy and crushed his brother in a bear hug. "Happy Birthday!" Tyson cried.

Percy hugged his brother. "Thanks big guy," he said, smiling widely.

The cyclops pulled away and backed up. Grover came and gave his friend a quick hug. Then Thalia came forward. Piper and Hazel both gave him kisses on the cheek and hugs, and the guys kept whooping 'happy birthdays'. Nico stayed quiet.

Finally, Annabeth walked towards him and gave him a lingering kiss on the lips. "Happy Birthday," she said and the two sat on Percy's bed.

Annabeth held out her hand, in which was a tiny misshapen cupcake with blue icing.

Percy smiled as a memory came back to him. "Did you bake this?"

"Tyson helped," Annabeth replied.

"That's why it looks like a chocolate brick... With extra blue icing," he whispered in Annabeth's ear, careful not to hurt the Cyclops' feelings.

Annabeth smiled and placed the bite-sized cupcake in her boyfriend's palm. "Sorry it's not as big as last time. It was last minute."

Percy gave Annabeth a sweet kiss, then popped the cupcake in his mouth.
