First Kiss (Leo Valdez x reader)

You slam the door to your apartment in your ex-boyfriend's face. You can hear him calling your name, but you just shouted out some unplesant words, and he left. You cried for a few minutes, then took out your phone and with shaking hands, called your best friend.

He answered on the second ring. "Hel-"

"Come over," you said immediately.

"What? What's wrong?"

"Just come. Please."

You ended the call and gently threw your phone on the couch. You put your hand to your mouth and tried to keep back sobs.

In five minutes, there were desperate knocks on your door. "Y/N!"

It was the familiar voice of your best friend, Leo Valdez. You blinked away tears as you walked to the door. You opened the door, and saw him standing there.

"Hey, what's wro-"

You grabbed his hand and pulled him into the apartment. You threw your arms around his waist and hugged him tightly.

"Shh..." He said. "Come on." He walked you over to the couch and we sat down. He held you in his arms, muttering caring words into your ear.

After forever, he pulled away. "Now, can you please tell me what's wrong?"

You choked back a sob and wiped tears away from your cheeks. "He dumped me." You closed your eyes. "He dumped me, for some stupid slut he met at a party."

Leo didn't say anything. You buried your face into his shoulder and began to cry again. After a bit, he mumbled, "I never really liked him."

"Leo!" You yelled, pushing away from him. "You're not helping!" You turned away from him.

He sighed, then wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his chin on your shoulder. "I'll say it; he doesn't deserve you." You turned back around to look at him. "He's a jerk. And you're way too kind, beautiful, funny... You're perfect, Y/N, and he doesn't deserve you."

You blushed, but Leo continued. "And if he dumped you for some chick he met at a party, then he is more of an asshole than I thought."

"But-"

"No buts," Leo said. "Now repeat after me. He."

"He," you repeated.

"Is."

"Is."

"An asshole."

"An asshole," you said with a small giggle.

Leo smiled. "Are you okay?"

You hesitated, but you nodded. "Thanks, Leo." You kissed his cheek, then pulled him into a hug.

Leo pulled away after a few seconds. He looked at you, his eyes both serious and nervous.

"Can I try something?" he asked.

You squeaked out an "Okay".

He cupped your face in his hands, then very softly, kissed you on the lips.

Being your best friend since you were three, you and Leo had kissed before. But in a sisterly way, for a second. This, this wasn't anything like those times. This was an actual kiss. When he pulled away, you looked at him questioningly as he blushed.

"What?" you asked.

"That was my first proper kiss," he said quietly.

"It wasn't mine, but it felt like it."

Leo looked up at you, smiling shyly. You smiled back, and Leo straightened up and he kissed you again, this time with more love and passion.

Every time he kissed you, shock and emotion ran through your entire body, making it feel like you were being kissed for the first time, again and again and again.
