A/N: So here's the first edition of Percy the Overprotective Boyfriend! I'll have a lot of other shots like this, some short stories and others just headcannons.

One night after the war with Gaea, Jason found Annabeth on the dock. He sat beside her and asked her what was wrong.

"I'm still getting over the Tartarus thing." She said. "And I will never forgive myself about Nico." Jason nodded- he knew what she was talking about. To defeat Gaea, a demigod had to die. Annabeth was going to sacrifice herself, but Nico di Angelo had already let one of Gaea's minions kill him.

Jason saw that Annabeth was crying, and he put his arm around her. In a totally brotherly-like way. Jason would never even think about dating Annabeth, because she already had a loving boyfriend. They sat there for a few minutes, and just as they were about to get up and leave, the son of Jupiter and the daughter of Athena heard a yell from behind them. They turned around, and saw Percy Jackson, Annabeth's boyfriend, standing there.

"Why were you hugging her?!" Percy demanded, walking up to Jason. Jason tried to stutter a response, but Annabeth beat him to it.

"Percy it wasn't like that!" She said, rushing up to her boyfriend and pressing her hands to his chest. But the son of Poseidon kept his eyes glued to Jason.

"Why was he hugging you?!" Percy demanded again, this time to his girlfriend. Annabeth blushed.

"He was just comforting me! Noting happened! I swear!" But Percy still didn't back off. He started to wake up the camp with his yelling and cursing. But eventually, he calmed down by the Aphrodite cabin using their charmspeak and Annabeth using her kisses. After Percy was calm, and Jason was checked for no injuries, Annabeth grabbed Percy's arm and pulled him away to the Poseidon cabin.

"What's with you?!" She asked, crossing her arms. Percy looked down.

"I don't know..." He mumbled. Annabeth lifted his chin up and forced him to look at her.

"There was no need for that. Jason was just being friendly." She said, in a softer tone but still angry. Annabeth waited for an answer, but Percy didn't speak. Instead, he grabbed her face and kissed her. Annabeth didn't kiss back. She stayed standing, with her arms crossed. Percy pulled away, his hands still on her face. He saw that angry look on his girlfriend's face, brought her face close again, and put his lips to her ear. Very softly, he said, "I just never want to lose you."
