Cuddle (Kid, AU)

A/N:
The reader/character in this one shot is a dog-girl. Also, she's afraid of storms.
  She takes the covers and crawls into the bed. She closes her eyes and tries to fall asleep, but it's kind of hard to when there's a freaking storm outside!
  A flash of light goes off and she pulls the cover over her head at the thunder that shortly followed. She pouts and cringes each time. She gets up out of the bed and walks down the hallway of the house; her ears start to twitch at every little sound.
  She gets to his door and pushes it open. His body lays in the bed; completely locked into a dream land. She stands at the door before his body turns towards the door.
  "Will you quit staring, mutt?" he mumbles, "What do you want?"
  She flinches at a bright flash of light, "N-nothing! I-I don't want anything!"
  She turns around and her body jumps at the sound of thunder. He laughs out, "Don't tell me you're afraid of a little storm?"
  "N-no! I'm-I'm not! G-good night!" she pouts and starts to go back to her room.
  "Mutt. Hold on a minute," he groans out and he gets up out of bed. He leans on the door frame.
  Her eyes trail over his exposed chest, but goes back up to his eyes, "What? I-I want to go to s-sleep."
  Her body flinches again and he laughs, "If... you're so scared... you can sleep in my bed... with me... tonight."
  She perks up slightly before another sound echoes into the house. He walks over and grabs her hand. He's so warm. Her face blushes and she follows him back into his room and under the covers.
  He lets go of her hand and faces away from her, "Now go to bed, (Y/n)."
  She feels his heat go away and frowns, "Okay Kitty."
  He sighs and turns back to face her, "Don't call me that."
  She looks down at the covers and mumbles, "Sorry Kitty, but it's just I enjoy nicknames..."
  He groans and pulls her into a hug. She blinks a few times before his voice echos, "Shut up."
  She snuggles into his warmth and wraps her arms around him; forgetting about the storm. She leans into his warmth, "I love you Kitty."
  He clears his throat, but it barley comes out a whisper, "I love you too, (Y/n)."
