"Don't be dramatic, it's only some plastic," a young lady talking to her friends laughs, "No one will love you if you're unattractive."
The girls are so fake here. They all say they're natural... but in reality... aren't I the same? She can't help but feel unwanted in her school, all the girls regard her as a rival, because no matter how much she beats herself down, she's naturally beautiful. With (h/c) (h/t) hair that goes to her sholders and brilliant (e/c) orbs at the age of eighteen.
The only release she gets is by keeping her head down and letting them all say what they want. This isn't me. Her eyes sting and she bushes against a man.
"Sorry," she mumbles without looking up at the man and tries to continue to walk away, but her had a grip on her wrist.
"It's only polite to look a person in the eyes when apologizing, (Y/n)," he doesn't loosen the grip he has, but he doesn't tighten it either.
"Sorry," she mumbles again, but this time he grabs her chin and looks into her eyes, "I didn't mean to bump into you. I'm sorry, Benn."
"Better," he smiles, "now what's on your pretty, little, brilliant mind?"
"Nothing," she whispers barely heard above the hallway noise, "Nothing's on my mind."
"Now... you're my school rival. Something has to be going through your mind. You're the only one who's even close to beating me in grades," he lifts the edges of his lips, "Now what's bothering you?"
"Nothing," she forces a weak smile, "Nothing is bothering me. I swear."
"Not convincing enough," he drags her to the courtyard and pushes her against the wall, his arms on both sides of her face, "Tell me."
She takes a deep breath, "They all hate me. I'm not good enough for this. Benn... beauty is pain."
"I thought yoh already knew that? Wasn't that what you're opening speech this year about?" he smirks and she gasps.
"My original! But I wasn't allowed to... I was in th-" he interrupts her with a quick kiss on the cheek.
"I read it for you," he pats her head and the bell rings, "Bye. Beautiful."
He kisses a strand of her hair and walks off to his next class. She stands there, but then sprints to class. She collapses in her desk and takes out her stuff, wanting to forget the events the just took place, but failing.
The class ends and she exits the room. The whole school seemed like a dead zone, so she ditches. She goes to the park across the street and lies in the grass.
Sleep calls her name and she falls quickly asleep. She's awoken by a figure sitting next to her body, she opens an eye to see Benn. She blushes and turns away, "You're a jerk. Making my heart race like this."
"I know, but it's the only way I can show you how I feel too," she sits up abd he plucks a piece of grass from her hair, "(Y/n)? Do you believe in love at first sight?"
"Ever since I saw you... yes," she looks at the ground and in a few seconds she feels his lips on hers.
"I love you then," he pulls away as fast as he kissed her, "(Y/n). I love you."
"I... love you too Benn," she reaches out and pulls his head towards her and kisses his lips.
Do you swear you'll stay forever?Even if her face don't stay together?
