Not... requested. Don't kill me! I feel bad considering I have a lot to do... but still! I wanted to write something cute with you know... someone I haven't really done... and I heard this song... and Cabbage really stuck with me for some reason.

Song: Sing Me To Sleep & Alone (Mashup)
Artist: J. Fla (I love her. Look her up on YouTube.)

His body is stiff. He doesn't know how to react; her head buried in his chest and arms around his abdomen. Her whole body shakes with the sobs racking her body. At this moment, he realizes that there's someone other than himself that he-someone he loves more than himself in the world.
Everything finally makes sense though; the way his heart races when she's around, how she's the only one that he gets flustered over when she compliments him, even how he gets way more jealous when she's paying more attention to another guy than when other girls forget about him (even if it is just for a moment). How does one react to this?
He then thinks over how they currently are situated. The reason she's over at his house at two am.... and how the person who hurt her is going to be killed, or so he wants to say and think, but his body and mind are still frozen over the thought of him loving her.
She's too busy thinking about the events that transpired to even notice that he's not reacting. Her soft, muffled cries start to make his body shake with anger, but he closes his eyes and wraps his arms around her shoulders. The action causes her to look up from his chest.
Her (e/c) orbs meet his sky blue ones and he has too look away before she could recognize the sadness underlying inside them. She places her head into the crook of his neck and breaths in his scent. There's something comforting about being in his embrace.
He swallows hard before tightening his hold on her. He closes his eyes trying to plague the thought of kissing her from his mind. He opens them again before laying back on the couch, she falls on top of him and he holds her close. He's not going to let her go.
She tries to think of things to say, but she can't form the words... there's too much of something else. She stares at the ceiling, she shouldn't have gotten attached. She knew this much, but she couldn't help it. Love makes people blind.
Now that they've broken up, she feels like a deflated balloon. Her whole world is turning into gray, but then again... she's blessed to have Cavendish at this moment. She tilts her head up to gaze at his face.
His eyes meet hers again, and her breath catches inside her throat. She looks in a different direction and buries her head away. Suddenly she feels his fingers brushing against her (h/l) (h/c) strands and he rubs her back; this was him trying to comfort her. This continues until her breathing is calm and she's asleep.
He sighs out, he really didn't think this through. He'd have to sleep on the couch now because if he tries to move... she'd wake up. It's not like he minds too much, he just doesn't think he'll be able to sleep on something with her so close.
Quite frankly, he doesn't even think sleeping would be a good idea considering his predicament with his other side. But it's not like he has anything to think about to keep him up. He grabs a few of her soft (h/c) strands and leans in to kiss her forehead.
"It'll be okay," he whispers to her, making sure she doesn't wake up. "I won't let you get hurt ever again. I'm here for you, (Y/n)."
He lets his head fall back onto the couch, but continues to stroke her head, "I... love you, Cavendish..."
He looks at her, but realizes that she's asleep. His lips form into a small, tiny smug smile. Though it probably doesn't mean anything, it makes him happy to hear that she at least can say she loves him; as a friend or as something more, it doesn't matter, "I... love you too, (Y/n)."
