Love this girl! She's so wonderful and.supportive! I hope this.was everything you wanted and maybe a bit more. If not... then I'm sorry. Is it just me... or am I a little over obsessed with rain in my one shots? Just me... okay.

It was Kaya. Always Kaya. He cared more for her than he ever could for (Y/n). She wasn't complaining... well... actually she was, but she'd never show it to him. It was just a blessing that Usopp even still talked to (Y/n), but if he did, it would be about Kaya.
It was like his whole world revolved around her. Maybe it did. So when they turned sixteen and got their soulmate tattoos, he hoped the name on the inside of his wrist would've been Kaya's. (Y/n), well she hoped it was his printed on her wrist. It was.
Maybe that was her mistake. She just hoped too much, "Hey, Usopp. When you grow up... where do you want to be?"
He gives her a puzzled look before smiling, "Well, I hope to be married to my soulmate. I just hope she isn't scary. Maybe... someone like Kaya... but-"
(Y/n) shakes her head, "You don't need to explain yourself to me. Kaya would be blessed to have someone like you. It really doesn't concern me, because after high school we'll probably never see each other again."
She grabs her stuff as the final bell rings, "Wait, (Y/n), you didn't let me fi-"
"I got to go. I have some family things to take care of. I can't hang out after school either. I won't be answering my phone either. Bye Usopp," she slings her bag over her shoulder and walks out the door.
"Wait! (Y/n)! It's raining, do you need an umbrella? Can I at least walk you home?" Usopp chases after her and tries to walk next to her, but everyone else just wants to get home and blocks him, "(Y/n), wait! There's..."
His voice gets drowned out and as soon as she gets out of the building, she puts up her red umbrella. She walks toward her home while looking at the name in his handwriting on her wrist. Her eyes well up with tears as her heart sinks lower.
The rain soothes her as she walks into the street. A horn blares as the headlights get closer, she barely dodges the front of the thing as the driver yells at her. She flips him off before going home and crashing.
She wakes up the next morning in a cold sweat. She checks her wrist, but his name is still there. She sighs as she gets out of bed and gets dressed. She walks to school, but something seems off. Everyone's in a pair... like everyone's got their soulmate, except her.
She walks into class, but stops dead in her tracks as she sees Usopp talking to Kaya with his arm out, wrist showing. Usopp spots (Y/n) and waves her over excitingly.
"(Y/n), check this out!" Usopp gives her a smile, "I think I figured this out!"
She begrudgingly walks over to him and he flashes her his wrist, "See? It's a birthmark! Isn't it cool? I never knew I had it."
"No, tell him it's a chocolate chip, (Y/n)," Kaya leans over and wipes the dark spot away. When did Kaya and I become such good friends?, "I told you."
"Come on Usopp, you scared me," (Y/n) playfully punches his shoulder, "For a minute I thought that Kaya was your soulmate."
"What do you mean, (Y/n)?" Usopp gives her a puzzled look, and then looks at Kaya, then back at (Y/n), "Kaya is my soulmate. See?"
He shows her his other wrist and in neat little handwriting, Kaya's name was scribbled out. Kaya pulls back her sleeve and, sure enough, in the same handwriting on (Y/n)'s wrist, there's Usopp's name.
(Y/n) pulls back her sleeve. It's still there. How? Why? Why is it always her?
She leaves the room a lot faster than she should've. Was it raining when I first got here? No, but that wasn't even five minutes ago. Usopp follows her, "(Y/n), wait! There's something I wanted to tell you."
She jumps into the street as a horn blares and headlights approach, this time she's paralyzed. She closes her eyes tightly waiting for the impact.
All she feels is a hand slip into hers, and she hears a voice softly say, "It's okay now, (Y/n). I'm here. I'm not leaving you. Wake up, please."
When she opens her eyes she feels groggy... and she's totally confused. How'd I get to a hospital?
Her confusion only grows when she looks beside her bed to see Usopp fast asleep in the chair, his hand slipped into hers. Her heart starts to beat faster and she pokes him.
He lifts his head up and smiles at her, "Morning sleepy-head."
"I'm pretty sure you were the one alseep... and I woke you up," she looks around, "Why am I in the hospital?"
"After the car ran into you, you got a concussion. You've been in a coma for three days. Don't worry though. I was here the whole time. I made sure none of the workers hit on you," Usopp squeezes her hand, "By the way... the day you got hit... I wanted to tell you-"
"You've been here for three days? What about school? You're going to have to do make up work," she looks down at their hands and then at her wrist, "What about Kaya?"
"What do you mean? What about her?" he looks into her (e/c) orbs.
"I... thought you two were soulmates," (Y/n) pulls her hand away from his and points at her tattoo. Of his name.
"What are you talking about? I haven't told anyone who my soulmate is," he takes a deep breath and takes off his wristband and shows her the tattoo, "I was going to tell you, but you ran away from me. (Y/n), you're my soulmate."
He grabs her wrist and puts them side-by-side. He looks up at her and sends her a smile, "And it looks like I'm yours. We were made for eachother, (Y/n)."
"T-then what ab-" he stands up and kisses her lips.
"She's already dating her soulmate. I told you that didn't I? Do you even listen when I-" she wraps her arms around his neck and pulls him into a kiss to shut him up.
Something tells me... their relationship is going to last long... probably forever. That is a soulmate after all.
