She lets out a sigh, she hates having to use this form. It's annoying and a hassle, but a woman has to eat, right? (No. Starve.)
She suddenly gets a shiver on her spine before she turns around. She's been caught red-handed, or pawed? Whatever the case... that man doesn't look too happy to discover that he's being robbed of a whole chicken.
She jumps with the dead bird still in her mouth as he brings out his gun and stars to shoot at her. She runs out the door and through the woods. It's the mans fault for living so far into the forest without civilization. Honestly, he's asking to be robbed.
She runs until she spots a car parked on the side of the road and hops into the back. You think she would've learned by now not to jump into cars with open windows on the side of a road, but hey, life goes on. And she's starving.
She doesn't even notice that the vehicle started moving until she already done with he meal. She looks around as the view passes bay way to quickly. She looks into the front to see a male with wet black hair, or maybe it's a dark brown. It's hard to tell when hair gets wet.
"Excuse me, do you mind stopping to let me out?" she jumps into the passenger seat which cause the man to look at her out of the corner of his eye.
He then looks back at the road without much of a second thought, "I can't, I'm already late. Why'd you jump into my car if you didn't want to leave?"
"Because I wanted to live while I ate my meal," she gets in the back and grabs a towel laying in the seat before she sits back in the passenger chair. "Why haven't you freaked out yet? Most people freak out when I speak to them the first time."
"My brother has a talking reindeer," the man looks back at the (h/c) fox. "I've seen stranger things, fox."
"I'm not a fox," she stretches her arms out and her feet as she covers up her body with the towel. "I'm a woman."
He turns his full head this time and then looks back at the road, "So it's true. But I would say that even for a woman, you're pretty foxy."
"You did not just-you just said that to a fox-person," she shakes her head as she flattens her ears. "Can you please let me out? I need to get back home."
"Nope," he sighs as he rolls up the back windows and the front windows all the way down. "I need to get back before the baby is born."
"Baby?" she holds the towel closer to her body to keep the wind from blowing it off her body. "Are you going to be a daddy?"
"What?! No!" he laughs before he rolls up the passenger window. "I'm not even in a relationship. One of my friends is having a baby, and they're making me the Godfather. Why do you want to get home so badly?"
"I don't know," she shrugs her shoulders. "I guess I'm just worried."
"Why?" he looks at her as he turns the corner. "Your parents? If that's the case, jump out the window. The longer you stay, the farther you get."
"I'm not jumping out the window! Do you want me to die?!" she sighs as her (e/c) orbs train on the horizon. "And no, I never even knew my parents. Plus, I'm old enough that I wouldn't even live with them!"
"Then that makes two of us," the man gives her a half smile. "Oh, if you're staying, I should tell you my name, it's Ace. What's yours?"
"(Y/n)," she looks over at him and their eyes meet. She hurriedly looks away as she feels her cheeks heat up.
"That doesn't sound like a fox name," he hums before he looks back at the woman with the ears and tail of a fox. "How do you even exist? The world sure is strange..."
"That's a rude question!" she scrunched her face into a scowl. "How do you exist?!"
"Well, my mommy and daddy loved each other enough-" she hits him in the back of the head, which causes the car to swerve. "Are you trying to kill both of us?!"
"I wasn't asking about how babies were born to idiot!"
"Oh."
"Don't you just 'oh' me!"
