I'm sorry if yo feel like I didn't do you justice... I tried. ;-;
Name: Mio Suzuki
Appearance: Long brown hair, blue eyes, crazy smile
Personality: Twisted and dark.-
The smoke floats up to the sky. There's no significance to this statement, yet it's being spoken. Mio's cold eyes watch as it flies high, only to disappear; it's unimportance seemingly evident.
The cause of the smoke, a single cigarette between a blond's fingers. There's something hypnotizing about watching the smoke trail from his lips into the dark background. The silence that surrounds them is unbearable.
They got off on the wrong foot, she attacked him the first time they met. She wasn't aware that he was there to save her, she only assumed the worst. Which in her life, was all she ever knew. Her eyes close, being cold and sadistic is all she's ever known.
Then again, why should she change now? He's just another person who'll end up betraying her. Even if he does claim to be chivalric. Her blue eyes continue to gaze at the smoke, nothing seems to disturb the silence besides the waves against the boat.
She takes a deep breath and lets it out. She won't apologize. She's not that type of person, but maybe there is guilt. She shakes her head, her long brown hair floating slightly.
"What's the matter?" the blond's voice surprises her and she suddenly makes eye contact with him.
"Nothing," she averts her eyes, something she's not used to doing. "Nothing is the matter, Sanji. I'm just thinking of all the ways that you and your crew could possibly kill me."
"We don't kill on this crew," he breath out before taking a deep breath back in. "At least we don't aim to kill. We're true to that nature, and if we wanted you gone by now... Luffy would've kicked you off already and said our goodbyes. But he hasn't."
"Maybe you're lying," she looks off into the distance, her body curving so her chest is pushed out slightly, but it's only noticeable if you were actually looking. He wasn't. He's a gentleman, but also a pervert. So maybe he's lying about that.
"I don't lie," Sanji puts out the cigarette and looks at the sky. "At least I don't try to. When it comes to certain things though... I'll lie hands down... if it means I'll save people."
"How do I know you're telling the truth?" she closes her eyes. Why in the world does she even care? Should she even be here? She's had many chances to leave, and yet... she still chooses to stay. What does that say about her? About them?
She hears his footsteps as he walks to the door, "Sometimes... you just need to trust. If you can't... then you'll never get anywhere in life, goodnight Mizo."
She opens her eyes and looks at his body as the door shuts, "Mizo? My name isn't-whatever... he's gone anyway. But... trust... I don't really think that's possible... is it?"
She sighs as she decides to go to sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day, she can just feel it. She wakes up to the smell of Sanji's cooking and the sound of Luffy, as always.
She changes her outfit and walks into the kitchen where Sanji is trying to pry Luffy away from the prepared food, "Goodmoring, Mio!"
"Morning, Luffy," she nods to him as she takes her seat and waits for them to proceed with the morning routine, but they don't. And it's eerily silent, which scares her. Scares her? What is wrong with her?
"Hey, Mio?" Luffy sits next to her and tilts his head. "Are you still thinking about leaving the crew? I want you to stay!"
Her eyes widen slightly as she stares at the cute, younger male. She looks over at Sanji, who just stares back, before looking around the table. She takes a deep breath and sighs, "Luffy, guys... I... have some things to take care of... but maybe someday... if our paths ever cross again... offer me to join your crew... and I'll accept. If you still want me... but I was planning on leaving the next time we docked," she stares at the plate that was set out for her before she feels a small curve on her lips.
She covers her mouth. Did she just... smile? Unsadistically (that's not a word...)? She looks at them, each of them with the same look of astonishment that she felt. Except Sanji, he just smiles back at her.
Something that just melts her heart, and will continue to do so even farther down the road when they meet again. This time, falling in love, even though that can be argued that it started the other night. When he first taught her how to trust somebody, and how to stop being just twisted and dark.~True End~
