A/n
For the sake of adorableness. You wear reading glasses.
She walks into the library and waves to the librarian, "Good afternoon, Mrs. Ayla."
"Hello, (Y/n). What brings you in today?" she asks the young girl who only laughs.
"I'm a tutor! Robin said that Luffy needs help in history!" she looks around, "Did you see him enter yet?"
"I'm pretty sure you'd-" the librarian starts.
"This is so stupid! I don't nee-(Y/n)! You're my tutor?!" Luffy enters and wraps his arms around her waist, "I think I can deal with this today!"
The librarian shakes her head and leaves the two young lovebirds alone. The female just smiles shyly and walks over to a table: sitting down.
Luffy follows her and sits down beside her, "So what are we going to start with?!"
"Uhm... what do you remember?" she gets out the books she needs.
"The revolution!" he laughs and takes his hat off, "I don't get why I can't have a hat on indoors... talk about a stupid rule..."
He's sure using the word stupid more than necessary. She sighs, "Luffy... we're in world history. Talking about our countries revolution was last year..."
"Oooh... that explains why I keep failing all the tests we take," he nods his head, "Shanks keeps yelling at me for it, but... what do you expect?!"
She mentally face palms. How in the world... did he make it this far? In high school! She forces a smile, "Okay. Then we'll start from the beginning of ancient civilizations. Pay attention because I'm only going to go over everything once."
-Timeskip-
A few hours later she feels his eyes on her and she turns to see his face inches away from hers, "Uh. Can I help you?"
"Can you repeat what you just said?" he sheepishly looks away as if embarrassed.
"S-sure," she shifts positioning her nose back into the book. Having him act that way makes her anxious. And his face that close made her palms sweaty and her heart beat over twenty hundred times per second.
Where was I? Her (e/c) orbs glide over the page and she spots the place she left off. Pushing up her glasses, and brushing a (h/c) strand from her face she begins to reread, "'In various religions, heaven is seen as the abode of God, or some places gods, and the angels, and of the good after death, often traditionally depicted as being above the sky.' That? Do you need an elaboration?"
"No... I just... want to ask... well... I want to say... that... heaven is a place on earth," he blushes slightly turning his head away from her gaze, "...with you."
She scrunches her face, not hearing the last part, "What makes you say that?"
"B-because when I'm with you... everything is perfect and great. That's what heaven feels like, right?" he keeps his eyes from meeting hers, but realizes he doesn't have to do that because she's also doing the same.
All of a sudden he gets the urge to lean over and turn her head towards him. That's exactly what he does and his thumb lies under her lip while his index finger lies under her chin. He leans ever forward, but stops midway.
His eyes almost have a certain fear, as if when he takes the next step, everything will go down in flames. She swallows and takes the initiative. Her lips gently graze his and they close their eyes.
It's like the whole world just clicked and exactly as Luffy previously spoke, everything was perfect and great.

__Extended__
Since the tutoring meeting, Luffy has been having weekly 'tutoring' sessions during the weekends that normal people would call dates. (Y/n) has been walking with more of a bounce into her step. This particular morning, it's been almost three and a half years, and Luffy's on his way to actually graduating. It's crazy to think we'll be graduating this year... and we started dating during freshman year.
It's so noisy. I hate the cafeteria, but... food... good... food. She sighs and bangs her head on the table. Sanji notices and sits next to her, he places a hand on her shoulder, "What's wrong, (Y/n)-chan?"
"It's too loud..." she moans, "I can't think."
He chuckles at get, "Don't you hang out with Luffy? You should be used to it being loud."
She looks at him with an annoyed expression, "He's never this loud."
Sanji goes to say something, but in five seconds he's on the ground and (Y/n) is in Luffy's arms.
Luffy pouts, "Sanji! (Y/n)'s mine! Don't touch her! She's more precious than food!"
He compared me to food... she sighs, "Luffy-"
She gets cut off with a kiss, "(Y/n)! After we graduate... I want you to be my one and only! Will you become my wife?"
Everyone in the lunchroom quiets down waiting her answer. They were in a sense, the power couple.
"Yes."
