Truth Revealed,Two Queens

Saya pressed the tip of her blade against Leia's neck,watching as it pricked her delicate neck. As small drops of blood began to slither down her neck,but Leia remained perfectly still unfazed by the blood. Or Saya's actions for that matter. "I came to apologize Saya,I know I've hurt you-"Leia began before being angrily slammed to the ground by her neck by Saya herself. Where did this sudden strength come from? Was this the pure hatred Saya had for her? Fueling her fire,giving her the strength to bind Leia with a mere hand? Leia released a ragged breathe as Saya glared towards her. Her glowing crimson orbs brimming with tears of bitter anger. "After all you've done to me you expect an apology to make everything better?!"Saya spat angrily causing Hagi to run towards her. Pleading with her not to do this. But the moment her crimson orbs landed on Hagi he couldn't find his words. For the first time in a long time Saya's burning gaze startled him. He didn't wish to be at the end of that blade. Knowing in her current state she could easily kill him and anyone in her way.

Leia swallowed hard as she lay outstretched on the ground. Her starless hair flailing around her looking like millions and millions of black ribbons. With her florescent lavender eyes boring into Saya's,Leia shook her head. "I know an apology cannot fix what I did. I hurt you,and people you love Saya but....I didn't grow up like you did!"Leia screamed with silent tears slithering down her cheeks. At the sight of her tears Saya's determination wavered. Never had she seen Leia shed tears. She was so use to the bloodthirsty Leia.

The woman who giggled maniacally as a horde of corpses formed at her feet. The woman who fed on Joel while his very life drained. The woman who mercilessly tortured Saya for years. Enjoying every moment of Saya's pain and agony. Saya believed that was the person she was facing. But if this was true then why the tears? Why was she showing something so....so human? "W-what do you mean by that?"Saya breathed,her grip on her katana trembling. She had to know. Was her anger towards Leia still truly justified. Could she get over all the pain? Or was she still as dark and devilish as ever?

Leia averted her gaze to the ground,with the memories of she herself being brutally tortured in "The Zoo". Everyone believed Diva had gotten the worst of it. But when they tired of hearing Diva's screams of agony they would always turn to Leia. Anxious to see how she would react to painful stimuli. "I was the lab rat in the Zoo. Those nights when you would hear a scream echoing through the night..that was me. Joel was not a saint Saya and neither was Amshel. They were scientists that merely wanted results."Leia whispered as now David,Kai,and even Julia was present. Watching the entire heart wrenching scene.

"You were the result of a successful experiment Saya,to humanize one of us. But i....I was used to fuel their more darker purposes."Leia stated as Saya's entire body trembled at her words. She remembered. She remembered sleeping in the comforts of her room. With little Hagi at the foot of his bed. Even then Hagi was drawn to Saya and refused to leave her side. But some nights Saya was awakened in the dead of night. By the sudden shrill cry of someone.

Someone begging to be released. Someone begging for their torture to end. Someone near tears who couldn't escape her cursed fate. That cry always sent chills down Saya's spine and for some odd reason made her sad. And at one point she questioned Joel about the strange cries at night. He would merely smile towards Saya suggesting she was having night terrors and should have a nightcap before sleep. But what Saya didn't know was that no one else could hear the cries. Only her. And why? Because of the Chiropterin blood pumping through her veins.

It was then that Joel began to add sleeping aids to Saya's drinks and blood supply. Hoping to help her sleep through the terror filled screams. And it worked. Yet even when sleeping Saya could hear those screams of pain and felt completly powerless to stop it. Slowly Saya's burning gaze lessened,her eyes turning to their original reddish brown hue. "I...I didn't know."Saya whispered as Leia shook her head."I know you didnt. That is why I did it. Why I killed Joel. I swore to him that I would get my revenge and I did."Leia began as she wrapped her fingers around Saya's katana,gripping it tightly until she bled.

"I know it doesn't excuse my actions Saya,but maybe you can see why I did the things I did to him. But to the others in my past....it was inexcusable. I did it because I liked it,drinking blood makes us stronger Saya. We're the superior race."Leia stated as Saya bit her bottom lip " But we shouldn't kill them just because they are weaker than us. I learned that from you...Saya."Leia breathed catching Saya off guard who released her blade. Yes Leia had done evil in the past but maybe just maybe she could redeem herself by fighting for what's right. Fighting for the human race. "I....I understand...there were things I didn't know....you can stay with us. There's no way you can return to Diva."Saya began as she rose to her feet.

Leia scrambled to her feet as she turned her gaze towards the ocean before them. "I don't want to go back."She whispered,her eyes retaining their dangerous glow. Leia slowly turned towards Kai,he immediately becoming entranced by her dangerous beauty. "Where I want to be is right here."She whispered into the air,flashing Kai a small smile that made his heart beat quickly in his chest. She smiled at him. She had actually smiled at him. Maybe now everyone would be abit less afraid of her. And welcome Leia. Maybe the Two Queen's could work together and truly save the world from Chiropterins. Only time would tell.
