The Third Queen

A Queen's Devotion

Leia's head was tilted upwards by Kai, whom held a smile filled woth such relief Leia could have sworn his cheeks would burst. "Live we us, your family. "Kai breathed as Leia's lips were conquered by Kai. Their tongues wrestling for dominance. Leia gripped onto Kai's arm as their kiss gently deepened. To the point that the queen had to takeba breather, unable to continue much longer. Yet even so Leia knew this was right, she could not leave this world. Not yet. Not when she had so much to look forward to as her love had told her. Their child, her daughter needed both her parents and she intended to keep it that way. With their eyes locked Leia gently layed her head on Kai's chest, while he gently placed his freehand at the base of her back. All the while craddling their daughter who happily suckled on her thumb, giggling happily. Causing the new parents to grin.

While watching them from afar gripping onto Haji, Saya stood a warm smile plastered on her lips as she held in her own arms Diva's children. Two reminders of her distraught sister, and silently Saya prayed she could also protect them from this world. Yet her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden moving corpse at thw base of the stage. With great struggle the corpse extended its hands for Saya, forcing itself tp rise from the ground with a loud roar which echoed throughout the entire room. Startling all especially Leia once she realized who the body belonged to, as with a loud cackle Amshel stood before Saya and Hagi. With half his body severed and struggling to heal he lashed out at Saya.  She flinched holding onto the children as Haji defended his Queen, grabbing Amshel by the throat breaking his very wind pipe. Anxious Leia and Kai rushed to Haji's side unsure of how Amshel was still alive.  Yet when the deranged Chevalier's gaze landed on Leia and the now awakened future queen in Kai's grasp. He scoffed with a brief smile on his lips "You might have won the battle, but the war is far from over. "Amshel stated weakly as if on que members on the Cinq Flèches appeared in everyway doorway.

Empty shells programmed to follow Amshel's every command even in death. Saya gasped in fear as Haji stood before her, declaring that he would deal with them. And both Saya and Leia knew why. Saya simply was not in top form after the battle with Diva, especially with her deep sleep looming overhead. It would ne a death sentence to allow Saya to fight on the front lines. Gritting her teeth Leia stood beside Haji, drawing her blade she took in a shallow breathe. Preparing for the looming battle ahead. "Stay back, protect Saya and the babies. We've got this. " Leia informed Kai who shook his head stating he would fight by her side no matter the cost.

Shaking her head Leia chose her words wisely,already knowing how noble and hardheaded her Chevalier was. "I promise you i will not die here, we will return to Okinawa. And you can show me the beaches, the warm sand. Everything. But for now you have to let me do this. "Leia informed as Kai turned hia head towards Saya who nodded believing every word that left her sister's mouth.  "she's right Kai. Were in no condition to fight, we have to protect to children."Saya said as Kai gritted his teeth, slowly nodding as he gently tugged Leia to him once more.  Pressing their foreheads against one another causing her to smile.

"You better come back to us. "Kai whispered as Leia smiled as she tenderly kissed her daughter's cheek as the small child giggled with glee. Her amber orbs boring into Leia's like a burning star in the distance refusing to fade away into the night sky. A star so bright it would make all around it envious. It was then that Leia settled on a name for her little star, one that she believed was fitting of the new light in her life. "I would never lie to you and... "Leia began as one of the soldier's jumped the gun and charged towards Leia and Kai in a blur. Growing angry at the interruption Leia severed the soldier in half, its blood splattering about the place. "Chise." Leia breathed as her dull violet orbs began to retain their deadly glow.

Swiping her blade in the air Leia allowed her enemies blood to drip down the steel all thw while preparing for the rest of the demons around her. "Her name will be Chise, after all she is our little star. " Leia breathed causing Kai to smile as he gently rocked Chise in his arms believing the name truly fit the child. "Chise." Kai breathed loving the name even more. It was with a breif smile that Leia began to run towards the many soldiers whom held blades of their own. But it meant nothing to her. She would survive this night and she would return to Okinawa with Kai as promised. For she had no desire to go back on her word ever again.
