After the attack of the new enemy called "The Schiff" David along with the others had entered the room to a bloody mess. One of the remaining members of Schiff had remained behind utterly traumatized due to what she had witnessed and endured by Leia. It was then that the member left behind was immediately taken captive by Red Shield for questioning. While Julia carefully checked the injuries of Saya and Kai. Yet while Julia was trying her best to mend Kai's injuries she found that there was no need. For most of his flesh had already mended itself so that barely a scar marred his flesh.

And the moment Kai was able to stand he immediately stumbled into Leia's arms. He welcomed him with open arms, as the two held onto one another for what seemed like eternity. It surprised David and even Saya herself to see how close the two had become. She had believed that Leia was no different from Diva the moment she realized she had turned Kai into a Chevalier. For Saya felt that turning him into a creature like them was a curse. Something Saya wouldn't wish on her worst enemy. But Saya couldn't help but to swallow her words as she had witnessed Kai fight tooth and nail to protect Leia. Not caring for his own safety only her own. It was something she never knew Kai was capable of. Such devotion. Such....such love. Yes that was the word.

The word Saya couldn't believe she had witnessed. But she indeed had. She had seen love. Kai's love, as strong as any burning flame flickering in the harsh wind. Awaiting for a hand to sheild it from the harsh realities of the world. And that gentle hand belonged to none other than Leia herself. Who was Kai's gentle burning sun in the sky. Never in Saya's life did she ever think she would see Leia with such an expression. One filled with gentleness and call that it was almost alarming. But it strangely fit the "Third Queen". Her gentleness almost reminded Saya of her past at the Zoo. A past self she hadn't thought about in ages. But it was almost as if looking in a mirror.

Without any hesitation Kai swooped Leia into his arms in the bridal position. Leia gripped onto Kai gently before allowing him to carry her out of harms way leaving the room scarred with battle behind them. Saya couldn't help but to sigh she had been wrong about Leia. She was nothing about Diva. She was indeed different. The most well rounded of them all. Was infact the "Third Queen".  While elsewhere Kai placed Leia in his bed, careful to sit her up so that he could wipe her clean of blood. Grabbing a bowl of warm water, hand towel and soap Kai began to lather the towel up before scrubbing Leia's skin gentle free of blood.

Leia remained silent the entire wash off. Allowing Kai to wipe the many droplets of crimson from her face before daring to look into those brilliant violet orbs,Kai found himself once again falling for Leia once more. But he couldn't help but to look away feeling ashamed and unworthy of her loving gaze. Which immediately drew Leia's attention. Kai turned away from Leia drawing the window curtain shut so that the two of them had privacy. "Kai,what's wrong?" Leia asked hesitant to the answer as she could already feel the sudden change in the air. Gritting his teeth Kai slammed his left fist into the wall. Startling Leia as his fist went straight through the sheet rock. " I failed you!" He choked out his voice hoarse from his own tears.

Carefully Leia drew near Kai,wrapping her arms around his muscular torso whispering "You fought valiantly." And to this Kai shook his head, biting his bottom lip till it bled. "No, I screwed up! I yelled for you! If I hadn't had yelled for you...if you hadn't heard me you....." Kai began before angrily punching the wall over and over again till a large hole leading to the other empty room next door was created. Pieces of shattered wood and concrete crumbling to the ground in pieces as Kai continued his rampage. "They would have taken you from me again!" Kai cried, turning suddenly to Leia startling her Abit as his ashen hands gripped onto her arms tightly.

It was then that Leia saw Kai for who he was and always would be. A shattered soul for whom she had chosen to love by Fate. And someone who she was responsible for now a days forever. With tears in his eyes Kai fell to his knees, wrapping his arms around Leia's waist as he sobbed. "I-I can't lose you again! I just got you back..."Kai cried, unable to contain her own tears Leia knelt down to her broken love. Smiling through her own tears Leia wrapped her arms around Kai holding him closely allowing his tears to flow freely.

"You won't lose me again I promise you. I'm not going anywhere."Leia whispered to her love causing his tearful gaze to turn to her begging her to say it again. "I swear it,after all I have you to look forward to."Leia said with a warm smile which was infectious as it always was as it caused Kai to crack a smile. "Don't leave me again."Kai whispered his voice a low almost animalistic like which confused Leia. Before she could even blink she was pinned under Kai's broad form which she didn't mind. But it was the look in his eyes that alarmed her. It was a gaze of crimson filled with hunger. A certain hunger that Leia wasn't all too familiar with.

Slowly Kai ran his left hand up Leia's slim form causing her to tremble at the sudden touch. For his touch was like a burning inch that she just couldn't quite scratch. "Don't leave me again"Kai whispered once more to which Leia answered "I'll never leave you ever again."She breathed as Kai immediately claimed his lips for his own. Their tongues wrestling for dominance all the while their hands violently tore at each other's clothing tossing everything to the floor. Kai peered down to Leia who's eyes were overcome with such lust he couldn't take it anymore. Deciding the relish the night the two lovers fully engorged themselves in their wants and needs. Not caring who heard nor how long it was. All that mattered was one another and the heated touch of their flesh against one another. Yet although Leia swore she would never leave Kai,she knew it was a lie.

Deep down buried within her many secrets she was keeping this one close and dear. And she hoped Saya would as well. Leia's deep sleep was drawing near and she would be lucky to even get to the final battle before sleep would take her. But she couldn't tell him,Leia knew how lost Kai felt without her before and couldn't imagine telling him that she would be leaving him whether this battle was won or lost. It was the sad and bittersweet truth. Their love simply was not meant to be. Perhaps it was the Gods punishing her for her past sins Leia didnt know. All she knew was that she would enjoy the remaining time she had with Kai for as long as she possibly could. Before his world was shattered once again.
