The Third Queen

Shocking Truth

With so much to say Kai finally returned to Red Shield,hoping that Saya would at least listen to what he had to say. He hated to admit it by Leia might have been right. With everything that had happened between the two warring Queen's. Kai knew getting Saya to actually believe his words would be the most difficult of them all. Biting his bottom lip Kai stepped into the newly renovated apartment, with a handful of familar faces darting back and fourth across the room. Examining Joel's Diary down to the ink. Along with Julia whom seemed to be further looking into a blood sample under a microscope. Hoping to find something. Anything that could aid them in this fight. With the betrayl of the "Third Queen" Red Shield had been sent into a backwards spiral. Forced to recalculate their plans and somehow figure out now how to deal with one enemy Queen. But two. But Kai wouldn't let it get that far. After all he was here to stop all this. Stop the nonsense of killing his Queen. His sweet Leia. For she was a victim in this war as well,they just didn't know it yet.

It was then that Kai realized that Saya herself was at the center of the room. Calling the shots so to speak with Haji and David by her side. Whom seemed to her council for this final battle that was approaching them very quickly. Taking a deep breath Kai walked towards Saya,her dull crimson eyes staring at him in both shock and surprisingly anger. Sensing that things might get ugly David urged Julia and the other workers to leave the room. Which they gladly did,already they could feel the heavy tension in the room. Tension that Kai just didn't understand. Silently Saya took a few steps towards her brother,anger radiating off her very being. Gritting her teeth the "Chiropterin Queen" spoke. Her words harsh and almost cruel to the point Kai wasn't even sure it was even his sister who stood before him. "You came back traitor,and without your Traitorous Queen-" Saya began as her words already seemed to cut Kai deeper than any blade. Traitor? He was no traitor and neither was Leia. Of only he could make Saya understand that.

"I can't believe you did this to me. You left for her and now your back. Get out,you don't have a place here." Saya spat her words as cold as a mid Winter breeze. Kai stood before Saya in utter confusion,just what had happened while he was away? What happened to his sister? The one who strove to protect this world? The sister who would smile at him and cause him to smile as well. Where had she gone? Swallowing a large lump in his throat Kai countered refusing to leave here without telling Saya everything. Even if she refused to hear it. "I'm not traitor Saya,and I'm not leaving until you hear me out." Kai stated his voice filled to the brim with unrelenting confidence. Confidence that shook Saya to the core yet she would not show it.

Turning her gaze from Kai,Saya turned her back to her brother. Refusing to even acknowledge that he was even there. Hoping that he would leave on his own accord. But she knew more than anyone how stubborn Kai could be. Once his mind was set on something there was little you could do to detir him. It was one thing that Saya found quite annoying about her brother. It was something she had grown accustomed to when she once lived on the peaceful island of Okinawa. But this was different. This was war.  And stubbornness in battle would only earn you a quick death in her eyes. His stubbornness was unnecessary. Something he needed to bury deep within himself. But Kai refused. Daringly Kai reached out gripping Saya's wrist forcing her to look him in the eyes.

Eyes that were flooded with so many emotions it was a struggle for Saya to look away. "Please...listen to me Saya I need you."Kai choked out his voice startling Saya whom seemed got once genuinely concerned. It was then that Haji placed a gentle hand on Saya's shoulder,his eyes fixed on Kai as he spoke. "Listen to him Saya." Those simple words. The fact that Haji dared to step into Saya's personal affairs meant that this had to be important. And despite her anger at her brother she bid him to speak. Thanking Haji with a quick nod Kai spoke his words shocking everyone in the room. " Leia was pregnant with a child. Our child." Saya's mouth was now agape in total shock she had not expected this. A child? Kai and Leia's child? No,it had to be a lie. It was impossible.

"Your lying!" "I can't make this up Saya! She was pregnant and the baby is mine!" Kai declared as hesitantly David stepped forward unable to wrap his head around it. " That's not possible,a Queen can only become pregnant by another Queen's Chevalier. It couldn't be yours Kai's it has to be-" David began only to be silenced by the glowing crimson gaze of Kai who hissed at his words. How dare he assume the child wasn't his. Not his but that bastard Amshel's. Gritting his teeth Kai spoke venom dripping from every syllable. "Don't you dare say that name in front of me. The child is mine." He spat,his words chilling David as he swallowed a large lump in his throat before choosing his words carefully. "E-Even if it is yours. Queen's have two children,where is the other one?" He asked as Kai tore his crimson gaze from David muttering "There never was, they call her the 'Failure Queen' who can't have two children. Only one."  Kai stated as Saya covered her mouth still struggling to wrap her head around this.

For her sister. The ruthless "Third Queen" with eyes the bore into you reflecting your own pitiful end was with child. How? How was someone so horrible blessed with a child? And to be Kai's none the less. It was then that Saya realized she couldnt. She couldn't kill Leia for it would break Kai's heart. But she knew she had to. Even if he loved her she had to die. And in the end so did their child as well. "Diva is holding our child hostage in order to keep Leia. She's too weak to fight against Diva. I found them and....I barely got out alive. She's not there because she wants to. Leia is being forced and shouldn't die because of it!" Kai declared his words startling Saya,who begun yo rethink her previous statement to end her Traitorous sister. For him what Kai said was true which she was sure it was,Leia was a victim. And deserved to be saved. But that also didn't hide the fact that she had almost killed Saya. And the sting of that wound would forever remain with Saya. Refusing to leave her side.

"Help me save her, I can't....I can't live without her. Help me save our child Saya,please!" Kai begged stirring Saya from her thoughts who immediately felt her anger slowly melt away. Leia did not betray her because she wanted to. She was simply a mother protecting her child. And before Saya was a man hoping to protect his woman. Something Saya desperately wanted Kai to have once before but not like this. "Alright,I will help. But Diva has to die first before this can all end. We plan to attack in 3 days. Diva is holding her performance here at the Opera House. It will be the stage for our final battle." Saya informed as Kai thanked his sister wrapping his arms around her thanking her with every fiber of her being. They could do it. They could end this war and save Leia and the child. Kai only prayed that Leia could hold out just a little bit longer.
