Saya Otonashi stood in the outskirts of New York City, allowing the rain from the sky above to gently pelt her body. She didn't mind the rain. In fact she didn't mind anything anymore. Nothing seemed to matter to Saya except the eradication of the Chiropterins. Because to the Queen that was the only thing she could do right in this world. She couldn't protect those close to her. Everyone she held dear always seemed to meet an early grave thanks to Saya. So what better way to protect them than to stay away from them? Protect them from the shadows. Yes,that's what Saya had gotten accustomed to. Until every Chiropterin was destroyed Saya did not believe she deserved to walk out in the brilliant sunlight. No. Not yet,not until she kept her promise. Not until she killed Diva.
Saya took a deep breathe as she struggled to control her breathing. Struggling to maintain her human like appearence. Since she had left Red Shield to further herself and her efforts to killing Diva. Saya had begun to fully embrace her Chiropterin side. Going so far as stood feeding, which she preferred over blood bags. She now understood why Leia and Diva were so much stronger than her. It was something about sinking your teeth into the flesh of your prey that just sent shocks of electricty through her body. Saya loved it,she craved it. And she needed it. Especially if she was going to stand a chance against Diva. But Saya had one rule. She never drank from anyone except for Hagi. He was her one and only source of blood when it came down to it. And he never conplained.
Hagi stood beside Saya, holding his trademark cello case with one hand. Awaiting further orders from his Queen. "I sense her. Diva's here. "Saya staged before opening her now glowing crimson orbs, peering up towards her fellow Chevalier. If what she said was true then their fight would soon come to an end. And soon Hagi would have to carry out their promise. A promise he had made to Saya so long ago. But honestly Hagi was not too sure he could do it. It could possibly be the one and only time he would disobey her.
"What do you want to do now?"Hagi asked Saya who now peered out towards the brightly lit city. As strong as she had become Saya knew she could not kill Diva by herself. No. She needed help and there was only one place she could go for the help she needed. And that was back to "Red Shield." Blinking twice Saya's glowing gaze faded back to their dull hue before she whispered " We have to go back. We need help." She breathed before beginning to walk down the alleyway leading deeper and deeper into the city. She had to go home. Back to Kai. Back to David and Julia. And back to her sister Leia.
Sticking to the shadows the two figures moves swiftly and silently through the night. Before soon coming across two fairly large apartment buildings. Yes they were plain buildings but Saya could sense it,she could sense the presence of another Chevalier and Queen. But who was it? But Saya wasn't the only person who could feel another Queen was nearby. Kai could also, and so could Leia. Stopping everything that she was doing Leia immediately walked out of the Red Shield building. Her eyes scanning the area before finally landing on none other than Saya herself.
Leia was happy yes. Happy that her dear sister had returned. Happy that they could now face Diva together and overall save the world. But at the moment she was scared. Leia hadn't expected Saya to show up so suddenly. And she was not too sure how Saya would react with the new and improved Kai. It was one thing that Leia had personally feared for quite sometime. Yes she loved Kai. And yes he was happy just to be with her. But before that little Rikku had died during his time as Saya's Chevalier.
And after that painful tragedy Saya refused to lose another person in her family to the clutches of Chiropterins. So would Saya see it as Leia taking away Kai? How would she react? Taking a deep breathe Leia made eye contact with her beloved sister Saya. Struggling to come up with something to say. Because she knew all too well that Saya sensed it. She sensed another chevalier. She sensed Kai. "Saya,I-im so glad your back."Leia began with a nervous smile causing Saya to raise an eyebrow.
"Don't change to subject Leia, why do I sense a Chevalier here?"Saya asked and before Leia could say another word she heard Kai open the door and greet his long lost sister. "Saya!"He greeted happily while walking over to hug his sister, but before he could even bring her into a warm hug Saya felt it. The stiffness in his muscles, the animalistic desire to quench his thirst. Kai was fighting the urge at this very moment not to sink his teeth into something.
Saya peered towards Kai in disbelief and then turned her attention to Leia who opened her mouth to speak. "Saya please let me explain-"Leia began only to be roughly pinned to the ground by Saya herself in a fit of rage. Her crimson eyes blazing in anger towards Leia. "How could you?!!"Saya screamed.
