Kai released a low animalistic growl as one of the black cloaked figures dared to charge towards the sleeping Leia. Without even missing a step Kai immediately appeared infront of the perpetrator,his dull brown orbs beginning to retain their dangerous crimson hue. Gritting his teeth Kai swiftly grabbed the stumpy man by his throat,causing the man to gasp in pain. All the while dropping his fairly large weapon onto the ground with a loud thud. "Touch her-" Kai hissed as he swiftly dug his nails into the man's neck,ripping out a fairly large chunk of his neck. Blood began to spurt from the wound as the wounded man released a blood curdling scream as the entire room was splattered in his crimson life giving liquid. Withdrawing his fingers from the man's gushing neck Kai licked a single drop of the man's blood before spitting it out. Hating the sour taste. "You die." Kai declared as many of the attackers hesitantly took a few steps back.

Fearful as they watched their own fellow companion collapse in a sea of his own blood. This was not what they had bargained for. They had no idea the "Third Queen" had made a Chevalier. For decided she had gone on in this war without a single Chevalier of her own. So to see her first and possibly only Chevalier in the flesh. And witnessing the vast strength he had at his disposal was both shocking and nerve-wracking to them. One of the smaller hooded figures shook her head. Refusing to die in this fruitless battle. "He'll kill us all if we try and take her now!" She pointed out as one of her companion's hissed at her as their same old argument began once again.

"We don't have time to wait! The Thorn will kill us all in no time!" The man screamed before angrily charging towards Kai swinging his weapon rashly. Before being grabbed by the cloak roughly by Kai and thrown with all his might into the ground below. The man released a barely audible shriek as a large crater formed around his body due to the massive impact. Kai glared towards the others before stomping on the man's hand breaking it in multiple places. Ignoring the man's cries Kai turned towards the remaining enemies awaiting them to make the next move.

Though the private battle was crashed by none other than Saya. Whom had heard the sounds of battle and figured it would be a hefty battle on their hands. "Both Queens in one room. This is truly a treat." One of the cloaked figures stated before appearing suddenly behind Saya,grabbing her by the hair. He forced the crimson eyed Queen to her knees. She hissed and cursed the man whom held her captive. Gritting her teeth Saya with stood the pain and tore her hair from the man's grasp. Losing quite a few strands of hair in the process. Glaring Saya then drew her blade and begun to angrily send a barrage of slashes towards the man who effortlessly dodged her every move.

Distracted at the thought of having to protect both Saya and his beloved Leia. Kai quickly returned to Leia's side. Scooping her clammy hand into his large chiropterin appendage,before delivering a gentle kiss to her cheek. "I will be back for you. I swear it."Kai whispered to his beloved before tearing himself from her side and rushing to Says. Who was in desperate need of assistance. The crimson eyed Queen stood within a small circle of the remaining three Invaders who slowly circled her about. Forcing Saya to her knees by slicing her Achilles tendon in two. Saya released a horrid scream in pain as she craddled her bleeding tendon. Watching as her blood begun to crystalize on contact with the blood of the enemy corpse. And this told Saya one thing,her blood could surely kill them. But why would they suddenly attack? And why now of all time?

"Give us the The Third Queen!" One of the attackers screamed before tackling Saya sending her flying into a far off pillar. Saya released a painful gasp before stumbling to her knees,only to be grabbed roughly by the throat. Kai called out to Saya before charging towards the attackers,only to be stopped by a single cloaked figure. With a single range circular sycthe the man perfectly surrounded Kai's upper body in a threatening manner. Kai's eyes immediately widened in fear as the man effortlessly pulled his weapon forward. Allowing it to swiftly slice through Kai's flesh as if it was nothing. Blood suddenly gushed from the large wound inflicted upon Kai which almost severed him almost completely in half. Stopping inches from his organs.

Realizing he was indeed losing this battle Kai found himself crumbling to the ground in a bloody mess. His vision becoming nothing but a dim haze due to blood loss. Gritting his teeth Kai cursed his weakness as he soon could pinpoint two of the attackers making their way over to Leia's beside. Kai screamed loudly begging his body to move,he niether cared what happened to him nor of Saya. All that mattered was Leia. His Queen. His life. His love. "No!" He screamed as one of the female cloaked figures swooped Leia into her arms. Allowing her head,arms and legs to dangle about. Tears in his eyes Kai crawled over to his love. His hand extended towards her and pleading for her to stay. To not go. To not leave him. Not again.

But she could not answer him,not could she defend herself due to Saya's injuries to her. It was her fault. If she hadn't had come. If Saya hadn't had attacked them then none of this would have happened. None of it. "P-Please don't take her!" Kai called out to the blonde female whom held his beloved Leia in her arms. The woman began to walk to their exit which was a fairly large hole in the wall leading to night world of New York. Yet the moment the woman begun to leap from the building Kai cried once more for her. For her to hear him. To fight. "LEIA!!!"  The woman turned towards Kai as if to say his words were useless. But the woman was immediately silenced by a the right hand of Leia which clamped down onto her face which such force she began to bleed. The woman trembled in fear her eyes darting back and fourth before coming into contact with Leia's slowly opening eyes. She screamed for her companion to come to her aid. But her screams we're useless as Leia's violet orbs soon opened and began to retain their dangerous glow. She was awake. Almost as if she was triggered by Kai's cry. With all her might Leia slammed the female into the ground causing the woman to lay stunned in both pain and fear. Unable to move,the woman was forced to release Leia who slowly rose to her feet. Her glowing eyes scanning the room before landing on the mangled body struggling to heal due to the damage he had endured. Upon seeing him in such a state Leia couldn't take it. She released a blood curdling scream into the air before she turned towards the remaining attackers. One which struggled to pick up his frozen female companion.

Leia released a low animalistic growl which caused the man as well to freeze in fear. His mouth becoming dry as the dangerous Queen drew near. Her breath touching the back of his neck sending shivers down his spine. "How dare you hurt him."She whispered The Third Queen's voice was low and icy cold as the winters breeze. This was something Kai hadn't seen from Leia in a long time. This was her old self.

Her true self. The Third Queen in all her glory. Her violet eyes seeming to almost shimmer in the moon light. But to those who stared at her with fear those glowing violet eyes were those of the Goddess of Death. "For what you've done there's only one punishment..."Leia began as she slowly wrapped her arms around the fearful male who couldn't even swallow the large lump in his throat. He was petrified. Leia then seemed to almost glide in front of the man forcing him to drop his companion to the ground with a loud thud. Now standing before the man Leia now allowed her glowing eyes to entrance the frightened man before he released a shallow gasp. What Kai hadn't realized yet was the fact that Leia had begun to rip the man's very neck apart into shreds with her bear hands. "Death."Leia whispered before severing the final ties of flesh that remained in the man's neck. He gargled up bile and crimson before his entire body slumped to the ground in a sea of crimson which covered the Third Queen from head to toe but she didn't seem to mind.

Slowly the glowing eyed Queen turned towards the slowly recovering Kai. Her eyes retaining their dangerous glow "No one will harm you as long as I breath."The Queen stated her voice retaining it's low and regal feel to it. She then slowly stepped over to Kai who's body still struggled to recover. Half of his upper torso continued to bubble with new flesh in blood in an effort to heal quicker but to no avail. He was simply to weak due to the blood loss. Watching the entire event Saya willed herself to her feet,gripping onto her shattered arm. Keeping her distance she watched as Leia pulled the barely concious body of Kai into her arms. She then held him closely as if he we're the only thing in the world that mattered.

"You did well,I'm so proud of you."The Third Queen whispered to her mangled Chevalier. Her Chevalier gritted his teeth in an effort to hold back his own tears,but to no avail. Overcome by emotion Kai allowed his tears to flow freely in his beloved's arms. It was over. They had survived this attack. But what would come next?
