Tender Moment and the Appearance

Months had passed since Leia had been brought into Red Shield and many things had changed. No longer was she treated like a dangerous animal. She was now being treated like a human. Able to walk around the ship,converse with others. Earning the trust of everyone even Saya. Yes Saya,the one who held ill will towards her. Even Saya had opened up to Leia. Treating her like a little sister. Ruffling her hair,and hugging her like true siblings. It was something Leia had never experienced. Yes she had bonded with Diva. But they had bonded over their insatiable blood lust.

It was nothing like this being with Saya and her family made Leia feel like a person. Made her feel human. And in truth that was all she ever wanted. Was to feel like she was part of something bigger. A family. As of late Leia could be seen smiling towards others when she was happy and even David was becoming accustomed to her. Leia was truly a sweet girl once you got to know her. She was sweet but sometimes tended to be alone in her thoughts. It seemed like she was always deep in thought but about what?

Leia quietly peered towards the starless sky above, enjoying the crisp night air on her skin. She enjoyed this. The peace in it all,she also realized she loved being on water and never got seasick. She loved watching the waves crash against the ship and the night sky above which seemed to welcome her into its depths. But she wasn't alone. Leaning against the railing of the ship beside her was none other than Kai Miyagusku. As of lately the young teenager would go out of his way to be in Leia's presence.

But she didn't mind it,Leia found herself wishing to be near Kai. He was quite a charming man. Kai wasn't too good with his words and would stumble over his words to get his point across. And to Leia it was the cutest thing she had ever seen. The more time she spent with Kai the less she seemed to see him as a brother. She saw him as something else,something that she wasn't accustomed to. But she knew this feeling was new and strong. And she did not want to lose it.

Hesitantly Kai laced his slightly tan fingers with Leia's fair ones,catching her off guard as she turned her dull lavender eyes towards him. Feeling her heart pound loudly in her chest. What was this? This anxiety when he touched her? Why was she so nervous,so caught off guard by such a small gesture? Leia averted her gaze to the ground feeling her cheeks turn red as she struggled with her words. It was the first time Kai had ever seen Leia blush and it was worth it. She looked absolutely adorable in his eyes. So adorable he couldn't help but to laugh.

Pouting slightly Leia playfully shoved Kai away mumbling a shy " Don't laugh at me " But to him that only made him want to get to know her even more. Hesitantly Leia made eye contact with Kai,causing him to blush as well. Making Leia flash a smile,he was just as nervous as she was. Leia gently squeezed his hand in her own as she opened her mouth to speak. There was something she wanted to know. Something that had been in Leia's mind since she had taken up the name Leia. "Kai,why did you name me Leia?"Leia questioned catching the nervous teen off guard.

Nervously he rubbed the back of his head before smiling towards Leia. "When I saw you....you were so beautiful...I couldn't take my eyes off you and Leia was the name that was in my mind. I thought it fit you perfectly because...you really are a beautiful person Leia. In body and soul." Kai muttered shyly causing Leia to smile at his words,he thought she was beautiful. Never had she been called that. She had been called evil,dangerous and so much more but never. Never beautiful. "You really think I'm beautiful?" Leia asked.

And immediately Kai blurted out as "Yes " making him turn away in embassasment. Leia smiled before turning him back to face her,finger index fingers trailing across his lips. "Kai."She whispered before leaning closer to him. She felt compelled to do so she wanted to do this. She wanted to kiss him. To feel his lips pressed against hers,to feel the heat. The intensity of this new emotion. Kai closed his eyes before gently wrapping arms around Leia's waist tugging her closer to him. Loving the feelings of her slim body in his arms. Yet the moment their lips were mere inches from eachother they were interrupted by a voice.

"Enjoying yourself sister?"The voice mocked,immediately Leia's eyes widened. Releasing herself from Kai's arms she stood before him in a protective manner. And before them was none other than Diva. Who wore a face filled with dissatisfaction towards Leia. "You left me,for HIM?"Diva asked her eyes beginning to glow their icy blue. Leia glared ordering Kai to run and tell the others. He objects telling her he'd stay by her side. Kai was determined to stay with her no matter what.

"I'll be fine,now go Kai."Leia beckoned towards the stubborn Kai. He objects once more only to have Leia's florescent lavender eyes on him once more giving off their dangerous glow. "Go now."Her voice demanding him to do so,and with great hesitation he leaves. Alerting the others of the attack,setting an alarm throughout the ship. Leaving Leia with her beloved sister who merely smirked towards her. "Shall we dance like old times sister?" Diva asked before pulling out her slim rapier from its sheathed and aiming it at Leia. Immediately Leia drew her own blade,her gaze never leaving Diva's. "Lets."Leia stated causing Diva to cackle before the blue eyed Queen lounged towards Leia. Beginning the battle of two queens. And quite possibly the fall of "The Red Shield."
