The Third Queen

The Sting of Betrayl

Three weeks had passed since the betrayl of the "Third Queen" Leia. And ever so slowly Red Shield had finally come together as a whole. The remnants of the organization dedicated themselves to eradicating Chiropterins and Diva of course had banned together in a rather small and reformed apartment building. It was here that the medical team had finally finished their procedures on the injured Saya Otonashi. Saya. The Firth of the Three Queen's had been gravely injured by Leia herself. Stabbed through the chest by her own blade,and left to bleed out on the cold asphalt. Yes Saya was a Chiropterin Queen,but their was a small problem with her healing process. Usually an injury such as that would be nothing for the Queen. But the time was drawing near. Her hibernation was creeping upon her,forcing her body to minimize it's own healing factor. And beginning to prepare her for her dreamless sleep. Knowing this Red Shield prayed that Saya would be awake for this final battle. In hopes of finally ending the tyranny of Diva and her horrid chiropterins. But at the moment something else greatly concerned Red Shield. And that was Saya's own sanity.

As the moment Saya's eyes opened they were overcome by their dangerous crimson glow,along with the savage screams of Saya herself. Who had to be held down by 5 men as her body thrashed violently about. Her voice becoming shrill due to the massive amount of screaming. At first no one was able to verify what Saya was screaming about until she angrily forced the men binding her away. Slowly Saya rose from the bed,allowing her bare feet to touch the cold wooden floor below. She seemed to walk with a slight limp as her crimson eyes were now glued to her own reflection in the mirror. An image that seemed to increase Saya's anger even more. For when Saya stared at her own reflection she saw not herself but Leia staring back at her. The crimson orbs Saya's reflection once held we're now replaced by blazing violet ones. That seemed to mock Saya to no end. An evident smirk on the reflection's face as her brilliant violet orbs bore into Saya even more. Making the First Queen tremble.

But why? Why did seeing the image of one of the other Queen's make Saya tremble? It was simple. She not only shook in anger but also a faint bitterness known as betrayal. Something that Saya was never use to. And she hated it. Since her days at "The Zoo" ended Saya had firmly believed that her two sisters were truly the root of all evil. Evil that should be wiped out of this world. For they were not truly meant to room this world. They were creatures,creatures that prayed on the weak. Humans were meant to rule this world,not their parasitic race. It sickened and saddned Saya at the time. But she knew. She knew what needed to be done. Saya would end her sister's lives and her own in order to end their race entirely.

Death. A word that Says once feared now seemed to change it's meaning. Into a word meant to deliver her from this world. But why? Why did thinking these thoughts cause the crimson eyed Queen to shed tears? Gritting her teeth Saya punched her reflection,causing thousands of glass shards to shatter around her fist. While Abit of blood of blood dripped down her clenched fist and onto the wooden floor below. But that did not stop the violet eyed Queen from staring back at Saya. With eyes that reflected Saya's own conflicting emotions. Sadness, betrayl, and desire. But a desire for what?

Saya tore her gaze from the fractured reflection,turning her crimson gaze to the doorway where Haji and David stood. Concern evident on the pale man's face at Saya's state. But someone was missing. Where was Kai? Slowly Saya walked towards the two,David tensing up abit as Saya's gaze seemed to waver. Her vision slowly became fuzzy and the crimson eyed Queen found herself falling to the ground. Her dizzy spells hitting her more than ever as Saya struggled to keep her eyes open. Without hesitation Haji caught his ailing Queen,helping to support her as she struggled to stand. Her hand firmly gripping onto Haji's bandaged wrapped hand. Blinking back the shroud of sleep that threatened to take over her Saya looked David in the eye as she spoke "Where is Kai?"

David lowered his gaze to the ground mumbling he did not know. And with those words Saya became even more enraged. How could they not know where he was? Weren't they watching him? "And Leia,where is she?" Saya spat hoping to get some answers from the man yet instead Haji was the one who answered "He went looking for her,Kai said he was sorry." He breathed,those words sinking deep into Saya's bones. She couldn't believe it. Kai had left her. He had left her for the traitor. The traitorous Queen who tried to kill her multiple times and nearly succeeded this time. How could he? We're they not siblings? Did he not have loyalty to Say as she did to him? After all they were family. Kai,Saya and poor Rikku. All apart of the fractured family caused by this war.

Gritting her teeth Saya angrily pushed Haji away from her. Her anger beginning to swallow her whole as she pictured Kai by Leia's side fighting against her. Once again betraying Saya once again forcing her to do the unthinkable. Kill her brother. And she couldn't bear the thought. "He betrayed me....why?" Saya choked out covering her face with her hands allowing her tears to flow freely. Sobbing loudly into the air Saya slammed her fist against a nearby wall causing it the crack Abit under her touch. She then stared David in the eye her eyes retaining their deadly crimson glow. "I'll kill her,I'll kill Leia for what she's done!" Saya declared,her voice filled to the brim with hatred for her sister even more than before. David hesitantly nodded at Saya's words informing her that in three days Diva would be holding a performance there in New York. Calling herself once again the "Soprano of Miracles" and there was no doubt Leia would be there as well.

"Then in three days we attack. And I will kill my sister's once and for all." Saya hissed as Haji lowered his head to the ground abiding by his Queen's words. "Yes,Saya." Haji whispered knowing that this final battle would indeed be one that no one ever forget. With so much blood and betrayl it was bound to erupt and this was only the beginning.
