The Hand of the Queen

Kai stood in front of his queen, his breathing becoming even more erratic as the remaining enemy circled the two. Threatening to cage them in from both angles. Hoping to end them swiftly, but Kai wasn't having that. And neither was Leia as her blade pierced one of the soldiers. Causing the body to fall to the ground unresponsive as it's blood pooled about it. "kai! There's only one way out of here. Let go of your rage and fight for me. With your true self! " Leia called out as she was suddenly pinned to the ground by two soldiers who snarled at her. Foaming at the mouth as the half chiropterin creatures snapped their jaws, awaiting the taste of Leia's blood. "D-do it Kai! " Leia shouted as she kicked away her captors, her blade firmly in hand prepared for another assault.

It was then that a fairly large wave of the enemy seemed to almost swarm at Leia. Their heavy blades slicing through Leia flesh with great ease. She flinched at the sudden pain, gritting her teeth as she called out to her faithful Chevalier once more. "Kai!" Leia screamed as a low animalistic growl vibrated from deep within Kai. The sudden noise caught the enemies attention, as they turned their backs to Leia. In an attempt to deal with what they believed tl be the biggest issue.  And Leia could not deny the fact. For Kai was going through something that for sometime was fearful. But now the curse Leia believed she had given to Kai was more of a sweet blessing. A blessing that was here at their disposal when times were dire and this was such. Watching from afar as her flesh slowly began to mend itself,Leia couldn't help but to gaze upon her love as painful grunts erupted from Kai's lips.

Like a swarm of angry wasps a hoard of soldiers lashed out towards Kai. His body becoming marred by multiple wounds being forced upon him. kai released another loud strangled cry as his very bones felt as if they were breaking themselves. Over and over again causing him a catastrophic amount of pain. He clawed at his own flesh,unable to maintain his human form now due to his pure rage. The enemy looked upon Kai in utter terror as Kai's body began to change into his final form. Gritting his teeth Kai could already feel his canines increase in length, while his fingernails became the length of a feral creature. Leia couldn't take her eyes off her love as his dark brown eyes gave off the same intense crimson glow of other Chevalier before him.

With another growl Kai scratched at the hoard of enemies, their blood spraying about as Kai ran top speed at the remainder. Slashing at the enemy with his massive claws with such force his nails seemed to slice through the enemies flesh like warm butter. Kai then popped his neck as the fresh blood of those weaker than him dripped from his claws. Leia pressed her hand to her chest completely amazed at how valiant her Knight truly was. For Kai had never been more attracted than Kai than she was at the moment. Ignoring her injuries Leia walked over to the newly transformed Kai. His right arm immediately snaking it's way around his Queen's waist. Bringing her close into a warm embrace, her heart shaped face pressed against Kai's bare chest.

Heat radiating from his muscular form, Leia shyly peered up towards Kai, his chiropterin features ever so evident to her. As a pair of 6 in oni horns protruded through his skull, while blood splatter littered Kai's body from to toe. But Leia didn't mind, she soon found herself caressing Kai's blood covered cheek. Wiping away the remaining blood residue from his face, revealing the handsome man Leia had fallen for. "let's go home. " Kai informed Leia as he effortlessly swooped Leia into his  arms. Holding her like Queen she truly was. With her face now as bright as a tomato Leia shyly nodded as her arms wrapped around Kai's neck. As the Chevalier carried his love out of the now crumbling building. Leaving nothing but brick remnants and blood in their wake. For the battle and war was over.  And the two could live happily ever after as Kai and Leia had planned.

Kissing Leia's cheek causing her to giggle, Kai stepped out to meet Saya and the others. And Saya who was so relieved to see her brother and sister safe and sound. Ignoring the fact that he had taken a grotesque form, Saya welcomed her siblings stating it was time they returned home. And Kai couldn't help but to nod in approval. Turning their gaze towards the sun rising before them the Two Queens and their Chevalier walked towards their future. A future that they all hoped would be a peaceful one.
