The Third Queen

A Queen's Decision

Within a blink of an eye Diva stood before Leia and Kai. Mere inches from the new Chevalier who's body trembled in both fear and rage at the sudden appearence of Diva. With her haunting glowing eyes Diva seemed to almost glide in front of Leia. Eying her sister head to toe before pressing her familiar icy fingers to Leia's cheek. She shivered at the sudden touch before finding herself wishing she could remain in her sister's touch longer. Just a little while longer. Before the bloodshed. Before the lies,before the lines of family and loyalty were blurred once again. Even Diva found herself wishing she didn't have to do this. But the moment her icy orbs landed on Kai;Diva realized she could not hide her rage any longer.

"You left me...for a boy,sister."Diva began before suddenly appearing behind Kai in the blink of an eye. Her predatory gaze in full bloom as her cold fingers wrapped around Kai's throat with a force of which he had never seen. Without even breaking a fingernail Diva crushed Kai's windpipe,causing the young Chevalier to gasp for air all the while clawing at her icy grip to escape. "Damn you Diva!" Saya screamed,her katana in hand as she charged full speed hoping to save her brother from Diva. But Diva didn't want Saya's interruption. Oh no. This was Leia's punishment. And hers alone. Glaring Diva turned towards Saya her glowing blue orbs freezing Saya in utter terror. Saya found herself breaking out in a cold sweat and dropping to her knees unable to even bear Diva's horrid glare. She had never felt such a familiar terror since her last showdown with Leia. But Diva's rage was on a whole other scale. For she was not as loving and gentle as Leia was. No. She was a true monster.

Leia stood in utter shock as Kai's body struggled to heal his shattered windpipe to no avail. Causing him to gasp and cough violently all the while trying to urge his Queen. His love to run. But she couldn't. It wasn't that Leia couldn't move it was the fact that she almost didn't want to move. Nights prior Leia had found her hidden blood lust which she had choked back for so long in order to be accepted. But now with her dear so near and the temptation to return to her former self screaming loud in her ear. 'Join us.' ' Return to your former glory Third Queen!' ' Bathe in the blood of your enemies once again.' These words echoing loudly in Leia's head. Driving her near the brink. Gripping her head Leia peered up towards Diva who smirked at her handy work. It was working. Just as Amshel had predicted. If Leia was exposed to enough bloodshed her old self would eventually kick in. Giving Diva the one thing she craved as well as the perfect world for her children. Her favorite sister by her side.

Watching the chaos rain down around them. For they and Diva's children would be the true rulers of the world. And they would feed on anything and anyone they wished. Forever. But this was only possible if Leia relasped. Deciding to push her buttons Diva walked over to the still recovering Kai,grabbing him by his neck once more. Kai was yanked up with great force by Diva her glowing blue eyes striking fear into his very core. "You gave him a gift sister. The gift of immortality as we do. But as we both know..." Diva began before pulling our from her dress a sharp daggar which she used to cut her hand. Kai's eyes were wide in our terror as Diva's blood slowly dripped down the small blade sealing his fate. "That I can claim that gift for my own and steal his very life away in mere seconds." Diva stated before pressing her blade against Kai's neck causing him to swallow a large lump in his throat. Was he truly going to die here? Before getting his revenge for Rikku? Before killing Diva with his bare hands?

Gritting his teeth Kai turned towards Leia who's dull violet eyes were overtaken by their dangerous glow. "Let him go Diva!" She cried out to her sister which caused Diva to smirk and Saya to glare. Struggling to her feet Saya made her way to Leia's side. Gripping her katana she aimed it towards Diva demanding she release Kai at once. Upon Saya's interruption Diva hissed "This isn't your party sister. Out of the way!" Diva hissed as Saya trembled at Diva's mere voice but she willed herself to stay standing. Refusing to be weak and allow Kai to be harmed any further. "Diva please;don't hurt him. I beg of you."Leia choked out catching both Queens attention. Even Kai himself. She was begging. Begging for Diva to not kill him as if Saya and Leia were not enough to take Diva down. But weren't they? Or was it something else?
