Leia took a deep breathe as Joel continued to jot down every last detail she described. Anxious to know more of the "Third Queen's" struggle and endeavours. Biting her bottom lip Leia willed herself to continue,choosing her words very carefully. "After I escaped I fed on people,but I was careful not to kill them. I then traveled in search of Red Shield but in the middle of that I came across Saya."She spoke,peaking the intrest of the two men in the room. Saya was okay,she was alive and well. Joel released a sigh of relief and her wrote down another quick note.

"How long ago was this?"Joel questioned,watching as Leia turned her gaze back to Kai. Who seemed to be struggling to contain his anger. But what was he angry about? Was it because of Saya not being there? Or was it because of the terrors Leia had been through? Yes. Just the mere thought of Amshel's hands on Leia's skin,him forcing himself onto her. No matter how much she screamed. No matter how much she cried for help. It was enough to drive Kai insane. He wasn't there. He wasn't there to help her,he wasn't strong enough to save her. To go out looking for her. Instead he was going out in the dead of night hunting beasts he knew he would never be able to conquer.

What was Kai's reason for going out at night on these useless hunts? Was it the adrenaline pumping though his veins? The excitement of the thought that he could possibly be in danger. That maybe just maybe he could kill these beasts. Or they could destroy him in the blink of an eye. Gritting his teeth Kai gripped his hands into tight fists,feeling his claws slowly digging themselves into his palms. Noticing Kai's sudden change in temperament Joel asked if he was alright. Earning a low and deep growl which vibrated through Kai's entire body. Nervously Leia turned to Kai who's eyes gave off their dark crimson. "I'll kill him! I'll kill him for what he did to you!!"Kai roared angrily, flipping the wooden desk over with ease.

His chest heaved up and down swiftly as he began to hyperventilate. He was angry,he wanted nothing more than to rip Amshel in two and bathe in his blood. Joel hesitantly rolled himself out of harms way,while peering towards Kai in both awe and fear. He and Leia watched as Kai began his transformation. As of now no one had seen Kai's chiropterin form including Leia herself. And yes she was abit curious but deep down she did not wish to see it. Leia did not want to see him like this. Her sweet Kai turning into the monster she was. She knew turning him would give him strange abilities, but she did not want him to turn into the monster she was.

For Leia knew she was a true monster, so monstrous in fact she kept her true self hidden. The bloodthirsty creature who wanted nothing more than to sink her teeth into her prey, and rip their entire throat out with a sharpened canines. She was a monster,a devil. Something that was never truly meant to walk this earth. But she did not want that for him. Not for Kai. Leia wanted Kai to remain innocent,she wanted him to remain as pure as possible. Just because she was going to hell for her evil deeds,did not mean she wanted him to join her.

Kai released a strangled cry as his very bones felt as if they were breaking themselves. Over and over again causing him a catastrophic amount of pain. He clawed at his own flesh,unable to maintain his human form now due to his pure rage. His thoughts seemed to mesh together with only revenge in mind. "I'll kill him,I'll kill him,I'll kill him!"Kai roared before suddenly feeling a gentle touch which shook him to the core. His crimson gaze turned to see. One other than Leia standing before him,with her right hand gently caressing his cheek soothingly. "Breathe Kai,it's alright. "Leia whispered to him,her voice as soft as the tinkering of bells as ever so slowly his anger began to simmer down.

"I'm here with you,that's all the matters."Leia whispered into his ear,watching as Kai's dangerous eyes disappear. Returning to those handsome brown orbs she had fallen for years ago. Slowly Kai wrapped his arms around Leia's slim form,holding her tightly as he shed tears. He cried for her. He cried because he knew she was in pain. Even now thinking of her past he could sense her hesitation. Her fear. The hate she felt while Amshel forced himself upon her. He felt it all. And even after that Leia was able to smile. But she didn't smile for herself no. She smiled for Kai. She smiled because she knew it would make him happy,because in truth that was all she wanted. To make him happy.

For Kai was different than any other man she had met. Gripping onto Leia tightly Kai muttered words to her through his tears. "I wasn't there for you."He muttered as Leia tenderly stroked his cheek."It's alright,I promise you I will have my revenge against him."She whispered to Kai as he nuzzled his face into her neck,quietly nodding. As Leia's mere touch was enough to soothe his anxious mind and troubled heart. She spoke the truth. They would have their revenge. Kai would make sure Amshel and Diva payed for the pain they had caused Leia. He swore it.
