The Redemption Queen; And The Request

"My don't you look divine! Straight out of my way imagination!" Nathan chimed as he circled the subconscious Leia. Who struggled not to tug uncomfortably at the gown he had acquired her to wear. It was true that Leia had once been accustomed to such extravagance in the past. But thanks to the normalcy she had gained living with Kai,she had lost her finer tastes and cared not for the finer things in life. Now Leia only wanted the simple things in life. Her child,and her love Kai. Trivial things such as gowns and parties meant nothing to Leia. It was quite funny how much she had changed. Once she was just as blood thirsty as Diva,no maybe even worst. Yet here she was a tamed beast trying it's best to fit into society. Struggling to find it's one true purpose in life. Biting her inner cheek,Leia allowed the flamboyant Nathan to circle around her admiring his work. "Nathan this really isn't necessary. You should be concentrating on Diva,you are after all her Chevalier. Not mine." Leia pointed out as Nathan ran his fingers across the sheer of her gown. An evident grin on his lips.

"I'm not Diva's Chevalier, neither am I yours. My Queen has left this world for sometime. Yet I remain here." Nathan began as he gently cupped Leia's face with an almost somber look in his eye. "I have no Queen,but to honor her I chose to watch after her less fortunate daughters. In a way you are my key to redemption Leia." Nathan stated as he tore his gaze from Leia's all the while fixing the sleeves of Leia's gown. "Everything I do is necessary. Like I told you I will create a grand stage for your destiny to take place. Only then will we know the date of our kind and the humans." Nathan stated as his hands traveled to her own gripping them tightly in an almost remorseful manner.

"Your very choice will choose the balance of this world. And I plan to see it through whatever the path you take. You are the only one Leia who can do this. Either end this world or create it anew. It all lies with you." Nathan commented as he placed Leia's right hand to her chest. "Do what you feel is right." Nathan said with a warm smile a smile that caused Leia to think about more clearly. Nathan was right,this was her decision. And she knew what she had to do. But the only problem was,could she do it? Could she hurt those dear to her once again? Instinctively Leia's gaze fixated on her sleeping child,yet to open it's eyes and bear witness to the carnage this world truly was. Even so that child was her life,and her reason for staying with Diva. To preserve her child's life above all no matter the cost.

Sensing her gaze Nathan brought the sleeping cocoon to the somber Queen. Who's arms wrapped around the infant gripping onto it for dear life. Leia blinked a few times as a single tear slithered down her cheek,hitting the smoothe surface of the husk which protected her child. Her body trembled as Leia's mind struggled to comprehend what she needed to do. "I know what I have to do..."Leia whispered her voice cracking as she allowed her tears to fall freely. Nathan hesistanly looked away unable to look her in the eye. Already well aware of the choice she had already decided on. Beginning to take his leave Leia beckoned his return Nathan stopped in mid stride,confused as Leia approached him. Bleary eyed but still held the strength of a Queen.

"I have a final request,it is something only you can do for me. Do you accept?" Leia questioned as Nathan bowed his head before her a sad smile on his face. "I do." And with those words he had sealed a pact. A pact that could not be broken,even by blood. It would forever remain. Acknowledging his words Leia knelt before Nathan confusing him as she whispered in his ear her final request. Her words stunning the flamboyant to become deathly silent. After those words Leia rose to her feet once more feeling Abit more confident before knowing her bloodline would surely continue. Despite all the evil she had done surely her child would be an innocent soul.

Biting his bottom lip Nathan nodded knowing he could not wiggle his way out of this contract. No matter how desperately he wished to. " I will do as you wish. Although you do know loverboy won't like it." Nathan pointed out his words cutting he deeper than any knife. Leia knew it was bound to happen she knew Kai would reject her decision. But it couldn't be helped. It was her decision,not his. And it had to be done. "I know but it can't be helped. I will deal with him and the aftermath. I only ask that you need your end of the bargain." Leia stated as Nathan nodded towards Leia once more submitting to her will.

Yet even if it was her own will Leia struggled with her own choice. But she could not back out this endless cycle of carnage had to end,and it would end soon. Sooner than anyone realized.
