"So you guys are staying up and protecting the city. Meanwhile what I do is sleep." I say dejectedly.
"Well Sabrina, you're very good at it." My mom says in a sheepish voice.
Well, one of them. See, I have two. Their names? Riley and Maya, the famous Rilaya. And my grandparents were Corpanga, meaning I have a lot to live up to. It wasn't just me though. My twin, Rowan, is in the same boat as me, but she could care less about the whole legacy thing.
Riley was like Topanga, who is a lawyer, and Maya was like Cory, who's a teacher, my teacher to be exact. Maya even said that I reacted the same way as Riley did when I found out my parent was also my teacher.
"Why No One Should Talk But Me, by Corey Minkus." Maya reads the top of the essay. "Yeah, that sounds like Farkle's kid alright." She chuckles, quickly grading the paper.
I grab my plate of spaghetti and head up to my room, momentarily pausing to look back at my parents, who were silently working but still holding hands, sitting as close together as possible like always.

"7 hours until school ends!" Rowan shouts, barging into my room.
I ignore her antics and say "You know what mom does? She uses her intelligence to help the powerless against the powerful."
"Yeah, she's really something." Rowan agrees, sitting down at the bay window.
"And mom tries to teach you stuff." I say, pointing at her.
"Yeah, she's cute." Rowan chuckles.
"What will I ever do?" I ask hesitantly, afraid of the answer.
"You'll do stuff!" Rowan says, trying to be encouraging. Key word is try.
"Like what?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
"Sab, the great thing about being us is that we don't have to worry about being them." Rowan says.
"Too late, I started and I don't like where it is going!" I exclaim.
"Sabrina, if you're trying to tell me how great our parents are, I know. We're very lucky to have them." Rowan says, shifting to a serious tone. "Not everybody does."
"Maybe they're the lucky ones, Row." I say.
"Why?"
"They're Riley and Maya, and I'm just their little shadow living in the reflecting on the sun. What do you do when you know you'll never be as good as your parents?" I ask, the question ringing out into the dead silent room. Even the usually chatty Rowan didn't have an answer for me.
Linebreak
"Ferdinand Magellan!" My mom says, writing the name on the board. "What did he do?" She turns around to look at us.
"First bull with a last name!" Rowan exclaims.
"First man to circumnavigate the globe." Corey says.
"Who are ya gonna believe?" Rowan throws her hands up in the air.
"Everyone thought the Earth was flat. Why?" My mom asks.
"They could only see the horizon." Peyton says.
Yup, that's right. The core four's kids all go to school together and we all have mom (or should I say Mrs. Hart-Matthews) as our teacher. We even sit in the same positions as our parents did. Unbelievable, am I right?
"They thought they would fall off the world. I don't blame them." I add.
"Well what about you guys?" My mom says, beginning to pace around the room just like grandpa Cory used to (or so I've heard; I even remember my mom screaming "NO! I BECAME MATTHEWS!" and my other mom saying "I MARRIED MY DAD/FEENY!").
