In Your Dreams

Part 2

The crowd screamed so loud I could barely hear what Bethany was saying to me. A tall blonde girl behind us, shot her arms up into the air and belted out: "I LOVE YOU ROCKY!!"

Compared to R5's super American voices, the girl sounded very English. It was a fairly cold March night in London and where we were- The R5 concert couldn't have been any brighter.

The tall blonde boy on stage stood at the front by his microphone, scanning the crowd, taking it all in. He wore torn jeans, pink converses, a plain t-shirt with his oh-so-famous leather jacket and his R5 wrist bands "I'm Ross and we're R5!!"

The crowd responded- Loudly. The lead singer smiled and nodded to his blonde haired older brother Riker who also nodded and together they shouted in unison: "HEY-SUP LONDON, ARE YOU READY TO PARTYYY" the crowd cheered not noticing that Ross said 'sup' and Riker said 'hey' but they laughed about it happily.

Ross laughed away- like he does and gave the crowd a big smile which drove the girls crazy with lust. The words: 'lust so hard to resist' echoed in my head in a secondary voice. Ok that was weird I thought to myself before shaking off the feeling.

I studied Ross some more trying to figure out his character. He seems like the kind of guy who knows how to please, "makes him seem a bit big-headed" I said out loud without realising, but luckily no one heard especially with this level of noise.

R5 were tuning their instruments and doing a quick sound check. Ross strummed his guitar and let out a "Yeah, yeah, yeah!" into his mic which no surprise set off the girls in the crowd. Shanell laughed and mimicked his "yeah, yeah, yeah!" into her iPad recording then turned back to me and Bethany giving us a playful grin.

"Oh Shennika, isn't Ross sooo Hot!" Bethany started with a hazed look in her eyes which was returned with "but I'm not picking favourites, you know that wouldn't be fair on my Riker" she winked at me before we exploded into laughter.

I returned my look to Ross. Tilting my head in thought, I stared up at him as he was adjusting his in-ear monitor so that it was comfortable for him. And Yeah Ross was cute and had this streak about him that could charm like 1000 girls! But he's a pop star and an actor and like most- the perfectness is pretty much a part of it. A cover up if I must add, they never show who they really are. Real doesn't sale. Once big old Hollywood has you held with both hands there's no getting out. But then that's not entirely true I suppose.

My sister Shanell (like me) is a huge Disney geek! She wants to do acting and star on Disney Channel as well as be up, close and personal with Disney teen actor Bradley Steven Perry- she has a huge crush on him. As a older sister I want her to be happy and I wish it but I must always stay realistic and not go off on a tangent especially when it comes to false hope. I'm sure they'll get together sooner or later they talk all the time- everyday I see her messaging and tweeting him, it's become a mildly-obsessive daily affair.

I know she'll become an actress one day because when you follow your dream you never go wrong. You know what awesome heroic girl said that- Barbie! I know, I know, you must be thinking that's lame right? But no, what people don't realise is that she's truly an inspirational character and has always been my childhood hero, she teaches kids to never give up and always stay true to yourself.

My thoughts were diverted when R5 finally opened the show with their first song of the night: 'Ain't no way we're going home.'

Rocky turned to his band members, watching Riker count in:"1, 2, 3" then with Rydel starting the song off with her keyboard chords and drummer Ratliff waiting to play on cue. Rocky smiles with his eyes closed, feeling the music and then turns to his mic, "I was blown away, busy disappearing till I saw your face in the stratosphere, and now I can't escape, the force field we're in got me light years away, so outta space, without a trace.." Riker joins in "Baby we're gone, baby we're gone, come on!" the volume turns up and Ross, Rocky and Riker jump and rock out as Ross takes on the chorus "AIN'T NO WAY WE'RE GOING HOME, LETS STAY ON THE RUN FOREVER..."
