Part 40

*Shennika's POV*

I stopped running once I reached a whole load of people, I wiped my cheek with the back of my hand breathing deeply still thinking about what Maggie said. I released my folded arms and sighed, why would she just randomly make it up? I saw the looks on their faces. I pulled a frown and began marching my way through the crowd, all this time Ross was giving me a hard time about trust when he goes and does this!

Tears pricked at my eyes, but I shook my head as the image of his smile remained in my thoughts, what secret could he possibly have with Bethany that they kept it from me?

I walked around a gang of people that just happened to be standing around in the middle of a moving crowd. I rolled my eyes at them and looked back thinking I heard my name being called.

I squinted my eyes looking around through the crowd but couldn't see who was calling me, I shrugged frowning as I bumped into someone. "I'm sorry" I quickly turned around putting a loose strand of my hair behind my ear, my face dropped and my eyes widdened when I saw who it was. "Billy."

He stared back at me painfully and looked like he wanted to tell me something, I winced a concerned look at him looking at his shiny eyes.

"Billyyyy-oh, it's you" Kelli emerged from the crowd and forcefully linked arms with him. I looked at him but he wouldn't meet my eye.

Kelli smirked, "aw why so sad? Did Ross finally come to his senses and ditch you?" I folded my arms at her as she continued, "I just assumed, seeing as you're on your ones and all, but anyway as you can see me and Billy are officially dating now!" she squealed slightly.

So he did go through with it, him and Kelli were dating now. I couldn't believe he did it just to protect me. Protect me. Oh Billy...no.

"Dating? Ah really" I said pretending that I didn't know, I looked at Billy who still wouldn't meet my eye, he stratched the back on his head with his free hand.

"Yeah" Kelli nodded biting her lip, she ran a finger over his chest then down his back grabbing his butt, making him tense slightly, she giggled "aw baby you know I'm just teasing" she hugged him tight.

"Yeah, teasing" he said frowning slightly as Kelli squeezed the air out of him. I bit my lip shaking my head then looked down at my shoes, poor Billy he's so miserable, I can't let him do this. I get that she really likes him but Billy is shy. Sensitive, and his eyes show the truth - it pains me seeing how miserable she's making him.

"Ok Kelli, you can let him go now, I get it, you're dating" I refolding my arms breathing out. She laughed then made tutting sounds at me smiling "babe it's perfectly normal to be jealous" she lifted Billy top a bit flashing his abs. He rolled his eyes "Kelli get off" he said annoyed, pulling down his top.

She waved her hand at him "Billy one minute, just let me" he groaned looking away from her to me with dark eyes. "Does Ross have this?" she gestured to Billy's tanned abs, I had my arms folded as I breathed out feeling uncomfortably sick at how full of herself she was. "Whatever Kelli."

Rydel came out of nowhere and stood next to me, resting her arm on my shoulder, she made a face at Kelli "nee nee nee does Ross have this- just shut your face Kelli!! And yeah you can tell your little cow bells that Rydel went there." she snapped her fingers and glared right back at Kelli's speechless expression.

Rydel looked at me and winked, I smiled up at her then together we looked back at Kelli who seemed a bit awkward as she silently fumed.

"Step right up travellers and challenge yourself, are you brave enough to take on the marvelous Maze of Mysteries!?" said a guy that was opening a ride beside us and collecting tokens off the queuing people as they went in.
