Part 17

In the morning I showered then changed into what Bethany picked out for me: high waist jean shorts with a cute baggy top that goes off one shoulder. I walked over to my mirror and drew little flicks on with my liquid eyeliner then added extra touchs of make up until I was satisfied with the outcome.

I clipped my bangs loosely on both sides before scrunching the rest of my hair with moose making it more wavy then it already was. I sprayed on my favourite perfume afterwards. I couldn't decide between my sandals or converses, so I just did ip-dip-do out of the two and went with my converses.

It was really sunny out, I could tell the weather was in my favour. I smiled to myself walking down the stairs then grabbed my side bag off the coatrack. Bethany walked me downstairs and watched as I checked myself over in the mirror by the front door, "so what are you doing today?" I asked Bethany fixing my curls slightly.

"Might check out the shops, you know Maggie, the girl that lives in the apartment next door, yeah she invited us to go shopping with her" Bethany shrugged pulling down her top so it went over her jeans more "so thought might as well check it out, you don't mind do you?"

I gave her a look "why would I mind, go and have fun. Shanell's gone up to the set with Bradley and its nice out" I smiled as we walked down the pebble drive "tell Maggie I said hi."

"I will, have fun with Ross, we'll talk later" she hugged me and pecked my cheek lightly. I watched her walk the opposite way in direction of Maggie's house. The sun felt hot on my arms as I turned and started walking to where I was going to meet Ross.

I had my earphones in and was listening to Crazy stupid love by R5 as I walked down an alleyway which lead to a cul-de-sac, I turned right and headed for the field down the hill at the bottom of the street.

I felt someone grab me from behind putting their hand over my eyes, I screamed and pulled free. The boy laughed, I groaned in an annoyed tone and hit his chest, "Ross! You scared me!" I folded my arms at him as he continued to laugh hugging himself slightly.

I frowned at him then let out a laugh at how red his cheeks looked. Under the sun in his shades and tank top he looked really cool, I tickled him as punishment but he won domination and took over tickling me instead, I ran away from him laughing.

"I saw you coming so I thought instead of just waiting for you to find me, I'll find you first" he shouted after me slightly out of breath. He took both my hands and span us around then stopped.

He gasped pointing, "what is that!!!?" I turned quickly shading my eyes and looked where he was pointing. In a rush he picked me up and threw me onto his shoulder and ran for the field "ha ha you fell for it!!!"

I laughed hard being jogged about as he hopped through the tall grass of the field.
"Ross!!!!" I kicked my legs about making him put me down. He tickled me on the grass like Billy did at the lab rats set before. The memory played in my mind and his name echoed repeatedly, I tried hard to shake it off. I can't think of him or have anything to do with him or else it'll just bring trouble.

"Hey I was joking before, you're not still mad are you?" Ross smiled giving me a look then sat in the tall grass next to me. I looked up at him "What?"

He shrugged, "you looked upset a moment ago" he took my hand and moved it onto his thigh.

"Sorry I was just thinking about that note I got last night" I lied touching the ruffles of his ripped jeans. He nudged me with his head, "hey don't worry about it, let's not let it ruin our day out, promise?" he smiled as he held out his pinky finger looking at me intensively. I whispered "I promise" then hooked our pinkies and grinned up at him without realising how close our faces were.
