Lili's POV

I put my hands against the cold wood of the door and pressed it open... I stepped into the room and shut the door behind me with my eyes closed the entire time. I don't really know what I had expected to see, some soul sucking creature similar to the most frightening characters on Doctor Who, probably but after a moment or two I finally built enough courage to open my eyes and face my fate. I took a sudden, sharp intake of breath when I looked around and saw my surroundings. It was a smallish room but still jaw dropping in its elegance and beauty, I couldn't help but be in awe. Dark wood with patterns carved into it was the dominant feature but a deep blood red colour was applied in various places to finish it off such as: the curtains, the furniture, the carpet. It reminded me of some luxury parlous from Elizabethan times. But what drew my eye the most was the cluster of people in the centre of the room, much to my surprise they looked normal enough which was enough of a relief to calm my racing heartbeat ever so slightly. They were stood in a perfect circle however the section of the circle closest to me broke off to create a space for me to enter the circle through. Although I was thankful that it had become clear as to what I needed to do, I was still incredibly freaked out considering that I hadn't made a single noise and yet they all knew that I had come in. I took precise and even steps in the hope that I would draw no excess attention to myself and that they wouldn't sense my nerves which I doubted considering that I imagined that they could hear my heart pounding within my chest. I continued walking, past the cluster of creatures at the beginning of the circle and into the centre which then they closed up around me. There was a large distance between us but even then it didn't feel enough and I could feel claustrophobia weighing down heavily on me.

I looked down at the floor and saw an intricate design just in front of my feet which at the time I saw no significance in, although looking back I probably should have paid more attention to it considering how out of place it was and how strategically placed it was. I followed the pattern with my eyes, working my way around the twists and curls until I reached the end of the pattern. I heard something click and to this day I'm still not entirely sure as to whether it came from outside of me or within me. It felt normal enough, nothing had changed much to my surprise, I thought, that was until I looked up. I hadn't noticed that their eyes had been closed the whole time just as mine had been previously, once I had looked up all of their eyes suddenly snapped open. It was a horrific sight, they weren't eyes exactly, well not human eyes anyway. They were the colour of charcoal, although that is unnerving enough in themselves, it was the pupils that frightened me. They were pure white and utterly and completely terrifying. I felt nothing for a second but then very suddenly, it felt as if 10 knifes had been thrown at my head. I collapsed onto the floor onto the pattern in pain and screamed, covering my head to try and block out whatever it was that was hurting me so much. It was no use and the pain began to spread around my entire body like acid being poured into my veins. I tried to fight it off or do something but I could only feel my consciousness fading quickly before I was consumed by darkness which was a small relief as I would no longer have to feel such an intense pain but I was left feeling unnerved about what would be my fate when I woke up, if I ever would.

Nathan's POV

I was freaking out. I didn't know what would happen to her in there, it was a mystery to everyone. Poor Lili, she was probably terrified. I too was terrified about the outcome. I kind of hoped that she was good because then we could go back to the boys and I missed them like crazy. I felt as if she would be that, Lili had always been too lovely to possibly be dark, I figured. I guess I-
