My Style of Writing

I'm just going to make this short, because I've typed so much today that I'm about to smash my keyboard.

There's so much anger this week. Phew.

But I just wanted to talk about this, because I just now realized it. And I don't know if I like it or not.

So, remember the time when I was really frustrated because all my characters were depressed or didn't talk or had bad pasts or something wrong was happening to them?

I was thinking about that, and I realized this: All my most popular stories, my best pieces of writings, or the chapters I personally have been most proud of include sad events.

For examples, Scars, Nicotine at Nine (because I really like the whole idea of it), the second Phil one-shot I just recently wrote (It's on my Christmas Special book, you should read it, I reeeeally like it), the final one-shot of the Christmas Special, which, clearly, hasn't been posted yet, and another chapter of a book that I've mentioned writing many many times before, but I just won't mention now, because in this context, it would give away spoilers.

But, what I'm getting at is that all of my chapters with more depressing or sad or serious topics are my best pieces, and I've come to the conclusion that that is my style of writing.

Don't get me wrong, I still will have books with characters that are normal, such as Project V.I.D.C.O.N. (whenever that continues :/) and the new series I'll soon be working on, which I will announce soon. But what I'm saying is that my style of writing I guess is a more serious and tighten up style of writing.

Are you guys okay with that? Do you even agree?

Okay, I'm ending it here, because my keyboard makes a weird clacking sound whenever I type a letter, and if I hear my keyboard make that stupid sound one more time I'm going to rip my hair out.
