Chapter 35

"Okay, Thank You Dr Sullivan, I'll tell her, bye"

My mom hung up the phone.

"Tell her what?" I asked knowing she was talking about me.

"Dr Sullivan has said she would like to see you girls individually. She said something strange happened yesterday and she thinks seeing you ok your own will benefit anyone"

"Oh great! So I don't get to see my friends at all?"

"Hanna-"

I stormed out. I went to meet the girls as we had arranged it the day earlier. There was this little greenhouse on the edge of town that no one ever used, and that was were we were meeting. It was about 8:00;we were meeting before school.

I arrived and Em and Spencer were already there. "Hey" I said whilst I hugged them.

S:"did Dr Sullivan call your mom?"

"Yeah. I can't believe she's making us see her alone."

E:"what are we going to tell her? We can't go every week and just sit in silence, I don't think I'll be able to handle the awkwardness"

Aria walked in as we were talking. "Sorry I'm late. I was arguing with my mom"

"It's okay, I was too"

S:"yeah Em your right! We have to talk to her, otherwise she'll just make us see her longer"

"Okay so what do we say?"

E:"We tell her what happened that night, and how we feel like no one believed what we are saying, which upsets us. It's the truth right?"

A:"yeah I suppose. But we aren't telling her about A?"

S:"no I don't think we can. We've seen how easy it is for A to hurt us when we do what she, he, it doesn't want us to do. I don't think we should risk it. Not yet anyways"

"Okay."

E:"my appointments today straight after school. Are you sure that's what we are saying?"

We all agreed and then Emily's phone bleeped; we all assumed it was A, until she smiled and had this look on her face. A look she hadn't had in a long time. Me and the girls all looked at each other and smirked whilst being a little confused. She looked up at us.

E:"what?"

A:"someone interesting Em?"

E:"hmm, I don't really know yet"

"Well who is it?"

E:"just someone"

S:"Emily Fields, we aren't leaving this room till you tell us who this mystery girl is"

She sighed and rolled her eyes.

E:"okay but your going to be surprised."

"Oh I'm sure we can handle it...COME ON"

E:"okay okay...it's Paige"

"PAIGE?" Me and the girls all said at the same time.

E:"I know, it's unexpected but it's good"

S:"you didn't just talk the other night like you told us did you?"

E:"No, I lied. We did talk, and dance and then I kissed her."

"Wow Em"

E:"I know. But that night we were together I was actually happy. Really happy, and I hadn't felt like that since, well you know? I didn't tell you guys because I didn't really know what this was...I still don't really know what this is to be honesty."
