Chapter 21

Aria POV

I walked to school with Emily this morning and left to go meet Ezra when Maya arrived. They were talking about their dinner with Emily parents that night, and you could tell Emily was stressed by the whole thing. I suppose anyone would be the same really.

I walked quickly to Ezras classroom, to get there before anyone else, like I did every morning. I walked in the door and closed it behind me, I noticed the blinds were all down so I went over and hugged him. It was so hard to spend time with him so when I got too it was so special. We had to be careful at school though, because if anyone saw anything, lots of questions would be asked, obviously.

"Hey babe" he said with a smile as I let go of him. I wanted to kiss him so bad, but at school it was too risky.

"Hey" I replied.

"Are you coming over tonight for pizza and a movie?"

"Yeah of course, sounds perfect"

"Good. I'll be counting down the hours" he winked at me as the bell sounded and I headed to my first class. I walked down the English corridor and a familiar voice said my name.

"Aria?" The voice said, whilst I turned round. It was Noel Khan. Noel was the most popular boy in school, and I had a major crush on him in 9th grade. "Hey Noel" I replied with a surprised time in my voice.

"So, I know this is a bit random, but I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me sometime?"

"Oh Noel, in sorry. I'm kind of seeing someone else"

"Oh really, who? I thought you were single"

"Oh erm....er....just this boy back in Iceland"

"Oh well long distance is hard, but I hope everything works out for you guys. See you around"

He slumped away as I watched him pull his phone from his pocket. He turned the corner as my phone buzzed.

A new about me and Ezra? How? We were so careful, and the only people I told was the girls. The fact that A did know, terrified me. A can ruin mine and Ezras lives with this and I have no idea when or how. I went to my first 2 classes and then at break time I called the girls to meet in the bathrooms. I'd been holding in my nerves all morning but as soon as I saw them I completely freaked out. "You guys what am i going to do! A is going to ruin my relationship and I have no idea when... I can't handle this any longer...I can't I just can't"

E:"Aria just breath okay? We will figure out who this is before anything bad happens okay"

S:"yeah Emily is right! We'll catch whoever this is, don't worry"

H:"I hate to rain on everyone's parade but, we have got no idea who is doing this to us. I mean Ian looks suspicious but if he was A why would he send us that video of himself...well doing whatever he was doing to Alison!"

E:"so are we saying Ian is Alison's killer but not A"

S:"well we might not know if Ian definitely did kill Alison but I don't think Alison killer and A are the same person"

I felt sick even thinking about this. The amount of unanswered questions that flew around in my head made me feel dizzy. Then I  told the girls about Noel.

"So something weird happened today, you know besides all the other weird things that seem to be happening to us. Noel Khan asked me out."

H:"wow Aria, nice"

"Hanna, I obviously blew him off. Im with Ezra"

S"it's so weird when you say that"

I rolled my eyes in Spencer's direction and continued.

"I said I was seeing someone and he's asked me who. I panicked and said it was someone back in Iceland, but he had a weird look, like he knew I was lying. Anyways he was like see you around and then he walked off on his phone. He put it in his pocket and walked round the corner just as mine bleeped and I got this message from A"

I showed them the text and they all looked confused.

H:"Aria, what are you saying?"

A:"I'm just saying we need to watch out for Noel. He's acting strange"

E:"yeah actually im with Aria on this one. He always seems to be around, and I never thought anything of it till now"

S:"Okay, we all stay away from Noel Khan, right?"

We all nodded in agreement and headed to our next class. I couldn't concentrate for the rest of the day, and i couldn't wait for the day but I managed to get through it. I couldn't wait for school to finish because afterwards I was going to Ezra's and there was nothing that would make me feel happier.
