Chapter 32

Spencer POV

We stood in the queue waiting to hand in our tickets to get into the prom when the girls came up behind us. I grabbed Toby's hand, and I started the conversation. "Hey girls!" I exclaimed.

"Hey" they all said back to me. Then Toby spoke.

"I just want to say, what happened between all of us is in the past. I'm free now, so what's the point of holding grudges. I hope we can all learn to be friends."

The three girls looked at each other.

"Of course we can be friends. Spencer's trusts you, so we do too"

"Great" Toby replied.

We reached the front of the queue and handed in our tickets, and went over to the drinks table. The girls went off somewhere so it was just me and Toby. "Hey, you wanna dance?" I asked him.

"Yeah sure, but I should worn you, in the worst dancer in the history of the universe"

We laughed and stepped out onto the dance floor. We started dancing, and we were having an amazing time, until I saw someone that ruined my mood instantly; Ian.

Emily POV

I stood at the snacks table and looked around the room at all the people dancing. I thought of her, but I tried to forget about it. Hanna  and Aria came over with punch and handed me a cup. I drank it and then we went onto the dance floor.

Spencer was dancing with Toby and me, Hanna and Aria were dancing near them.

Even though all my friends were around me, I felt alone. Aria was dancing next to me but the whole time she was staring at Ezra, spencer was dancing with Toby and Hanna had disappeared off somewhere.

There was only one person I wanted to dance with, and be with right now. I know I said I would forget about her, but I couldn't. The more I tried the harder it got. I  walked of the dance floor and saw Hanna's bag on the chair in the corner of my room; I stole her flask. I needed something to take the edge off. I went outside and sat on the bench and started to drink my sorrows away.

Aria POV

I wanted sooooooo badly to dance with Ezra tonight, but I couldn't. He looked so hot standing at the snacks table, I couldn't stop looking him. Every once in a while he would look over and smile at me, which made me feel all fuzzy inside. A slow song started playing, and this was the time all the single people walked off the dance floor and it was only the couples left. I turned around to what I thought would be Emily, but it wasn't, she was gone. I as immediately worried about her because she wasn't in a good place right now. I went to find Hanna.

It took a while, but when I did find her she was arguing with some delivery guy who was charging her for some poster she "didn't order." She ended the conversation with and EUGH and the man walked away.

"We have a crisis" I said to Hanna.

"What?"

"Emily's gone"

She immediately displayed a look of panic on her face.

"Okay okay, she can't have gone far, she doesn't have her car. You check the cafeteria and I'll check the courtyard"

"Okay."

We walked off in different directions and hoped we would find Em, before anything bad happened.

Hanna POV

*1 hour before aria told Hanna, Emily was gone*

My phone bleeped and my heart immediately started racing, as it always did when I got a text. And guess who it was from, oh yeah A.
