Did I ReΔlly Get His Number?

We walked quickly out of the back entrance. As we came into view everyone screamed our names.

"Dan! Dan! Over here! Dan!" One girl screamed.

Dan smiled at me before walking over to the excited fan. I was just standing here awkwardly watching Dan. He was stood awkwardly, he had his hands in his pocket and his cheeks were a deep crimson. I snapped out of my little trance when someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to see Kyle smiling at me.

"Lily, you're wanted over there, by your fans!" Kyle laughed excitedly.

"Oh, really? Cool, okay" I stuttered as I walked past Kyle and smiled at a group of teenagers waving frantically.

"Lily!" A boy shouted as I walked closer to them.

He had brown curly hair that was in a mound on top of his head. He had glasses, similar to mine and dark brown eyes. My eyes drifted to his hands. He was holding a large sign and I gasped when it read "I Love You Lily". I blinked and reread the sign. It actually said "I love you Lily". My breathing became uneven and my heart pounded. This guy can't love me, he doesn't know me. I'm being extreme now. Calm Lily, calm. I took a deep breath and stopped walking when it reached them.

"Hi" I smiled snapping into reality.

"Oh my god, it's really you! You're so amazing!" One of the girls squeaked.

She had short, wavy blonde hair, like mine, but she had turquoise/blue dip-die on the ends. The smile on my face didn't match my scared eyes.

"Thanks" I smiled.

"I'm Isabella, but just call me Bella. It's so great to meet you" she smiled and held her hand out.

"Lily" I smiled, shaking her hand gently.

"I'm Will" the guy holding the sign said.

I turned my head and smiled at him. He transferred the sign into his left hand and shook my right hand.

"How old are you?" He asked as he stared into my eyes.

"Fifteen" I smiled.

"Me too" he chuckled.

"Cool" I smiled awkwardly.

"I'm Beth" another girl said.

I turned to face a small girl with short brown hair which was styled with soft curls. I smiled and shook her hand.

The rest of the group introduced themselves. There was Isabella, Will, Beth, Ellie, Aaron, Patrick and Ruby. I took some photos with them and signed some autographs. Other people called my name and I turned around. I saw a group of girls waving their arms about. I smiled at them and turned to the group I was with.

"Sorry guys, I've gotta go, it was great meeting you" I smiled before turning around.

Someone grabbed my hand and I spun around with an alarmed expression on my face.

"Sorry" Will said as he dropped my hand.

"Sorry" I muttered.

"I-I was just wondering... If uh..." He looked over to his friends who nodded and walked away, giving us some privacy. "Well, how long are you in Leeds for?"

"Uh, I leave tomorrow morning" I said nervously.

"Oh, well, I, um, was just wondering of I could give you this" he said nervously as he pulled a piece of paper out of his pocket.

He handed it to me and I opened it up. There were some numbers scribbled down and it took my a moment to realise that it was a phone number, his phone number.

"Uh, that's my phone number, uh, I just thought that, um, well, you seem like a really nice girl, and you're really pretty and yeah..." He trailed off and looked to his feet, as his cheeks had turned the colour of a tomato.

"Oh, um, thanks" I smiled nervously as he looked back up, his dark eyes meeting mine. "Well, I uh, better go, I'll uh, text you later" I smiled and half turned.

He grabbed my hand again, forcing me to turn back round. He held his arms open for a hug shyly and I timidly wrapped my arms around his body. His warm hands rested on my back for a few seconds and then I pulled away.

"Thanks" he smiled looking down again.

"See you" I smiled and walked towards the group of girls that called my name.

We squished into the van and Will started the engine. I rested my head on Dan's shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me.

"So, who was that boy you were with earlier" Dan whispered into my ear, with a hint of playfulness in his voice.

"What? Who? What boy?" I stuttered.

"You know, brown curly hair, glasses, he had an "I love you Lily " poster." Dan chuckled into my ear.

"Oh, just a fan" I smiled nervously and my cheeks turned bright red.

"Mmhmm, sure" Dan said sarcastically. He was implying that he was something more than a fan. He was almost right but I wouldn't admit this to him. Ever.

I frowned at him and put my head back on his shoulder.

We drove to the hotel in silence. Dan fell asleep with his head resting on mine. His hair tickled my cheek as he moved up and down as he breathed.

When we reached the hotel I prodded, the heavily sleeping, Dan's cheek. He didn't move. I prodded harder and he moaned, sitting up and frowning at me.

"Lily " he moaned.

"What?" I laughed. "We're here"

"Oh" Dan said as he climbed tiredly, out of the van.

I followed him and we walked into the hotel side by side.

"Hello, can I help you?" The woman behind the desk asked.

"Hi, uh, yeah, I have booked some rooms" Dan said nervously.

"Yes, what name?" She asked.

"Smith, Dan Smith" Dan said and she clicked the mouse a few times. I laughed and he turned to face me with a 'what?' Look. He said it like he was James Bond or something.

"Ah, rooms 12, 13 and 14. Here are your keys" she handed Dan three keys and smiled.

"Thanks" Dan smiled as he threw a key to Kyle and one to Woody.

"Have a nice stay" she smiled as we walked off.

We walked to the rooms and as Kyle, Woody and Dan unlocked the three doors, we said our good nights.

I practically fell into the bed when Dan opened the door and I walked in. Dan laughed and jumped onto the bed next to me.

"Urgh, I'm so tired" I moaned as I buried my face into the pillow.

"Me too" Dan sighed.

He shuffled closer to me and put his arm around my shoulders. I lifted my head up and rested it on his arm. My eyes felt heavy and I couldn't stop them from shutting. The memory of Will handing me his phone number played through my mind and a small smile crept upon my face. It slowly disappeared as I began to slip into the inviting darkness. I fell asleep to the soft sound of Dan breathing.
