"Thank you! You've been an amazing audience! We've been Bastille!" Dan shouted and the audience screamed.

Woody stood up and we all walked off he stage, waving our hands like lunatics. I was disappointed that the show was over, but extremely relieved.

"Lily! You was amazing! As usual" Dan cheered as he tickled my stomach.

I squealed and slapped his hands away.

"Me? Amazing? Dan, you're like the master of amazing! Argh, your voice is just... Argh!" I giggled.

"Argh?" Dan questioned, raising his eyebrows.

"Yeah, like, OMG" I laughed.

"Lily, you're not making any sense" he chuckled.

"What about me?" Kyle pretended to start crying.

"Kyle, oh, sweet cat man Kyle. You are the freaking sass master" I laughed.

"Well, I do try" Kyle said in a low voice.

He clicked his fingers, pretended to flick his hair over his shoulder and walked off with so much sass, it amazed me.

"Sassy" I muttered and Dan laughed. "Mm I want to go hooome" I moaned.

"Lily, we're in Glasgow. You can't go home, we still have one more show!" Dan cheered.

"Woo!" I cheered. "But I still want to go home."

"You can and you will, soon" Dan laughed. "For now, we can go back to the hotel"

"Okay" I smiled.

We walked over to where Kyle, Woody and Will were standing. I ran over to Will, who had his back to me, and jumped on his back. He screamed a very high pitched scream and I burst out laughing. He grabbed my arm and pulled me round to his front, holding me like a baby.

"What was that for?" He asked looking into my eyes.

"No reason. I just wanted to surprise you, oh mighty Farquarson" I laughed.

"Well, surprise me, you did" he laughed, setting me back on my feet.

"Hey, where's Phoebe?" I asked looking round.

"Dunno, she must have gone." Kyle shrugged.

I shrugged and linked Will's arm as we headed out of the building. We followed a security guard through the building, my arm still linked with Will's. I heard the screams of the fans, waiting outside for us. My heartbeat increased and I squeezed Will's arm.

"You okay Lil?" He asked looking down at me.

I looked up and smiled shyly. "Yeah"

I looked at Will with a puzzled look, when the security guard lead us past the door, that lead out to the fans. He opened a door and we followed him. I shivered when the cold November air hit me. To my surprise, there were no fans outside this door. We walked quickly to our van and got in. As Kyle started the engine, my mind wandered to the poor fans waiting outside for us. I felt really sorry for them, but really delighted that we got out of the awkwardness. I loved meeting fans and other Stormers, but I always got really scared to meet them. I rested my head on Will's shoulder and my eyes began to slowly shut.

My eyes slowly opened and attempted to focus. I blinked a few times and took in my surroundings. I was in a hotel room, I looked over to my side and saw a bed that had been slept in. The curtains were open and I heard the shower begin to run. I saw a pair of tatty converse on the floor next to mine, it must be Dan who's in the shower. I saw that I was still in my clothes from last night. I must have fallen asleep on the way back, and Dan must have put me in bed. I pulled my phone from my pocket and saw that I had a few texts from Josie. I smiled and opened them.

Josie : Hey giirrlll, how's it going on tour? Where are you now? Ahh I miss you soo much xxx

Josie : Oh my god. Lily. There's news that you're Dan's girlfriend. What? Explain. Now.

Josie : Lily Coleman. Answer me. Why the hell are there pictures online of you and Dan doing couple things? Look:

She attached a few photos of me and Dan holding hands and him with his arm around me. I sighed and shook my head. No no no. Please, this can't happen. I quickly typed a reply.

Lily : Jo, I swear nothing is going on between me and Dan. That's gross, Dan's my dad. Please don't believe all these rumours, they're not true and you know it. I'm in Glasgow right now, we're heading to Edinburgh later :D guess what? I met a guy! He's called Will, not Bastille Will, different Will. And guess what? HE KISSED ME! Sorry, you're my only friend, I needed to express my feelings to someone. I miss you Josie xxxx

I sighed and began playing with the rubber case on my phone. As I pulled it off a piece of paper fell out of it. I frowned and picked it up. I unfolded it and saw that it had some numbers scribbled on it. It also had some writing on it saying 'Will's number :)'. I smiled and typed the number into my phone. I quickly sent a message as I heard the shower turn off.

Lily : Hi Will, it's Lily, is it strange to say that I miss you? X

I frowned as I realised how much I missed him. Slightly strange, I've only known him for a day, but he was really nice, and sweet and I miss him!

My phone buzzed again pulling me out of my thoughts. I had a message from Will.

Will : Hey Lily :) it's not strange, I miss you too :) what are you up to? X

I smiled at my phone and typed a reply.

Lily : I've just woken up, I'm in a hotel in Glasgow:D we did a show there last night :) xx

I slid my phone onto the bedside table and Dan walked out, in his David Lynch t-shirt and his usual black skinny jeans. He smiled and began making the single bed that he had slept on the night before. I jumped up and walked over to the bathroom.

"I'm just having a shower" I smiled and closed the door.

"Okay!" He called back.

I quickly slipped off my clothes and got into the shower. When I hopped out I realised that I had no clothes with me.

"Dan?" I called out, wrapping a towel tightly round my body.

"Clothes?" He called back, laughing a little.

"Yeah" I replied laughing too.

"Which ones?" Dan asked.

"Uh, blue jeans, dragon T-shirt please" I said shyly.

"Uh, do, uh, you need underwear?" He asked awkwardly.

"Oh, uh, it's fine, I'll get it, close your eyes and turn around" I shouted through the door.

"Okay, you're wearing a towel aren't you?" Dan asked awkwardly.

"Yes, now don't look" I said.

"Okay I'm not looking" Dan called.

I sighed and opened the door. I quickly ran to my suitcase and grabbed my jeans and the white top with the dragon silhouette on it and some underwear. I fumbled for my toothbrush and grabbed my makeup. I ran back into the bathroom and locked the door.

I quickly changed, applied some makeup and brushed my teeth. My hair was wet so I shook my head like a dog. I laughed as water splashed all over the mirror. I slipped my glasses on and walked out to see Dan packing his things up. He turned and smiled at me, then continued packing his things. I nodded to myself and began packing my things up. I was done before Dan so I helped him.

"What were you doing?" I laughed, gesturing to a mound of clothes on the floor.

"Couldn't find my jeans" he laughed, folding a T-shirt and putting it in the suitcase.

We finished packing Dan's things up and as he zipped up the suitcase a rhythmical knocking came from the door. It sounded like the drum beat Dan does in Pompeii. I ran over to the door and opened it to see Woody, Will and Kyle standing at the door with large smiles on their face.

"Hey guys" I smiled as I stepped aside to let them in.

"Hey Lily" they greeted one by one as they walked past me and into the hotel room.

"What's the plan for today guys?" Woody asked the group as we huddled round.

"Well, we're playing in Edinburgh tomorrow, so we can do anything today" Will said.

"Hmm, Lily?" Dan asked and I smiled at him.

"Yeah?"

"What do you want to do?" He asked.

"Uh, I don't mind, anything" I said shyly.

"Okay, uh, so what do you guys want to do?" Dan asked turning to the others.

"We could buy a cat!" Kyle yelled.

"No" Dan said quickly.

Kyle sighed and crossed his arms. He looked like a small child having a sulk. I laughed and Kyle looked up, locking his eyes with mine. I stopped and he burst out laughing, causing me to laugh again. We got a few strange looks from the others but they soon joined in with our random laughter.

We decided to go for a walk, do some touristy stuff. I'd never been to Glasgow so I was excited to see what was there. We found our way to a park, not a park with swings and a playground, a park with trees, flowers and a lake. There were some older boys playing football on a large grassy area and they invited us to play with them. As they were kicking the ball around I stood watching, I really am not into football at all. After about five minutes, I got bored so I walked over to the lake and sat on the bank, staring out across the still water. The sound of the birds chirping, the ripple of the water and the swaying of the trees relaxed me and I went into a trance-like state. I jumped slightly when someone sat next to me. I turned my head, snapping out of my daydream.

"Hi" Dan said shyly.

"Hey" I smiled.

"Are you okay? You just disappeared" Dan asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, I just got bored of football" I laughed.

"Oh right, good, I thought something had happened to you" he chuckled and put his arm around my shoulders, giving me a small hug.

I put my head on his shoulder and sighed.

"I'm tired" I yawned.

"Well, we did go to bed pretty late" he laughed and his body shuddered.

We sat in silence for a while until I decided to break it with a random comment.

"This is nice" I blurted out.

"What do you mean?" Dan asked.

"This, the park, the lake, the sound of the birds and the laughter of children in the distance" I laughed quietly.

"Yeah, it is" Dan said, I could almost hear the smile in his voice.

Silence fell again, but it wasn't awkward. Unfortunately the peaceful silence was broken by the loud ringing of my phone. I groaned, lifting my head from Dan's comfy shoulder. He laughed and I pulled my phone out of my pocket and hit the green button, not bothering to check the caller ID.

"Hello?" I asked into the phone.

"Lily! Hey! Sorry if it's a bad time, I'm just soooo bored" Josie laughed into the phone.

"Oh, no problem, how are you doing?" I asked.

"Oh, the usual, I'm doing alright I guess, do you remember Becky?" She asked.

"Uh, bee Becky?" I asked.

I remember Becky being obsessed with bees, like I was obsessed with Bastille.

"Yeah, she's not into bees anymore" Josie laughed.

"Okay, so what about her?" I asked.

I smiled when I realised Dan still had his arm around me. I put my head on his shoulder, hoping that he didn't mind.

"Oh, yeah, well she started talking to me! I'm not lonely anymore!" She cheered.

"Oh, that's so great, Jo, I'm happy for you, I'm sorry that you were lonely, I guess it was my fault that no one talked to you" I said with sympathy in my voice.

"What? Why was it your fault?" She asked.

"Because I was that girl, who no one talked to and who everyone sort of hated" I said and I felt Dan move and turn slightly to me.

I lifted my head and looked at him. He was sat with a look on his face saying 'everyone hated you?'. I smiled shyly and turned my attention back to my phone.

"What? Lily, you're crazy. No one hated you! They were a little scared of you, you did have sudden outbursts of anger" Josie laughed.

"What? No I didn't" I objected.

"Yes you did, Lily come on, you threw a chair at a window" she laughed through the phone.

"I did that to escape from that hell hole, that doesn't mean I have anger issues!" I laughed.

"I never said that you did" she laughed.

"Well you implied it" I laughed.

"Okay, well, whatever, what are you up to?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Well, we're in a park in Glasgow" I laughed.

"Oohh, nice, you doing anything or just chilling" she giggled.

"Well, Kyle, Woody and Will are playing football-" I was cut off by someone screaming.

"Not anymore!" Kyle screamed as he sat next to me.

"Who was that?" Josie laughed.

"Kyle" I giggled.

"What?" Kyle said.

"No, I was talking to-never mind, guys I'll be back in a minute" I smiled and stood up.

I walked over to a bench, not too far away from them, and sat down.

"Sorry Jo" I laughed.

"Ah no worries, so what were you and Dan doing whilst they were playing football" she said in a teasing tone.

"Well, Dan was playing football with them and I got bored so I sat next to the lake and after a few minutes Dan came and joined me" I said.

"So no boyfriend girlfriend stuff then?" She teased.

"No. For the last time Josie, me and Dan aren't going out. He's my dad!" I half laughed.

"Okay okay, calm your titties, I know" she laughed.

"My titties are calm" I giggled.

"Good, so about this Will, tell me everything!" She squealed.

"Well, he had brown curly hair, glasses, a cute smile..." I trailed off, smiling to myself.

"How did you meet?" She asked excitedly.

"He was at the concert in Leeds, and I met him outside the venue" I admitted.

"You kissed there?" She asked, slightly horrified.

"What? Oh, no, we kissed in a cafe the day after" I laughed.

"You went to a cafe with him?" She asked.

"No, I went with the guys and he was there, so we spoke in private and he kissed me" I laughed.

"Oooh was it good?" She squeaked.

"Yes" I smiled.

"Good, so, guess what?" She said excitedly changing the subject.

"What?" I laughed.

"Miss Duncan got sooo told off by this man the other day, it was so funny" she laughed.

"Okay, tell me then" I giggled.

"Right, well he came in with his wife the other day to adopt. So miss Duncan did what she usually does, beats us until we go into the living room and line up. So most people just ran downstairs so that's she couldn't shout at them and beat them, but Joey, he didn't want to, so he sat in his room. The couple heard some screaming, coming from Joey and they ran upstairs, we all followed them, obviously" she rushed.

"Obviously" I muttered.

"Yeah, and then the man, saw her beating Joey so he ran into Joey's room and pulled her off him, he started screaming at her telling her that beating a kid wasn't the right way to treat them and that she wasn't fit to run a care home and he threatened to call the police and get her arrested for child abuse so she fell to the floor and started crying and begging him not to. So the couple quickly ran down the stairs with Joey and adopted him! Ha! It was so funny" she laughed.

"Yeah that is funny" I laughed. "So your not disappointed that they didn't pick you?"

"Well yeah, I'm disappointed, but I'm sort of getting used to not being wanted" she said sadly.

"Aww Jo" I said sympathetically.

"Ah shut up, don't give the the sympathy" she laughed. "Ah, sorry Lil, I've got to go, lunch is ready and I'll get punished if I don't go, love ya, miss ya, bye"

"Love ya and miss ya too Jo" I laughed and the line went dead.

I put my phone in my pocket and walked back over to the guys.

"Sorry about that" I apologised sitting down.

"No worries, come on, I'm starving, let's go get some food" Dan laughed standing up.

"YAAY" Kyle cheered and jumped to his feet.
