"Lily wake up" a voice came from next to me.
I grunted and rolled over.
"Lily" I felt a warm finger prod my face. "Lily, Lily, Lily"
"No" I mumbled, burying my face into my pillow.
"It's your last day of school" large hands rolled me over.
"No, I don't want to go" I mumbled.
"I made pancakes" I bolted up right and stared at Dan.
"Pancakes?" I questioned, looking into his stormy blue eyes.
"Mmhmm" he nodded.
I jumped out of bed and hugged him. I let go and pranced into the kitchen, grabbing my glasses and sliding them onto my head on the way.
"Sit down" Dan instructed.
"Yes sir" I saluted him whilst sitting down on the stool and leaning my elbows on the island in the kitchen.
"Tada" Dan placed a plate of pancakes in front of me with a large tub of Nutella.
A large smile appeared onto my face and I looked up at Dan, who was sitting next to me with a plate of his own.
"Thanks for this" I smiled.
"No worries" he looked up, smiled, then looked back at his pancakes.
I smiled and tucked into the delicious food.

"Bye" I hugged Dan tightly as we stopped at the school gates.
"I'll pick you up later okay?" He hugged me back.
"Okay" I smiled, pulling away.
We turned in opposite directions and I walked towards the school. I saw my new group of friends and trotted over to them cheerfully.
"Good morning" I sang.
"Someone's in a good mood today" Ara laughed.
"I am indeed, Dan made pancakes for breakfast" I grinned.
"Lucky you" Chloe giggled.
The bell rang and we all split apart, heading to our form rooms.
"Good morning" I smiled, hugging Robbie as I got to my seat.
"Uh hi..." he hugged me back after a moment of hesitation. "What's gotten into you and where can we get more of it" he laughed as I let go.
"Pancakes" I laughed as we sat down.
"Ooohhh" he laughed.
Miss Jones walked in and the class fell silent. She took the register and the classroom was engulfed in loud chatter once again.
Chloe got up and walked over to my table.
"Hey Chloe" Robbie and I said in unison.
"Hey guys" she laughed.
She pulled up a chair and sat in front of us.
"Oh, guys, I got you a Christmas present" Robbie smiled, reaching down into his bag.
My stomach flipped when I realised that I'd not got anyone presents. Actually I had Robbie's drum sticks that he wanted Woody to sign. I should probably give them to him when Chloe's not around.
"Uh... Guys... I totally forgot to buy you presents" I admitted.
"It's fine" Chloe smiled.
"Yeah don't worry about it" Robbie chuckled, pulling two wrapped gifts out of his bag.
